And with that, Marinette walked away with her real family, leaving the class in the dust.
"Something you want to share with us, Mr. High Road?" Alix asked Adrien, furiously.
"Well, ya see . . . " Adrien started, but was quickly interrupted by Ivan grabbing him by the shirt.
"You knew, and you didn't tell us?! You let us hurt Marinette and screw our chances at being friends?!" Ivan shouted, asking for confirmation.
"I didn't want anyone to get hurt!" Adrien attempted to defend himself.
Literally at that point, everyone started screaming at Adrien.
"YOU THOUGHT TELLING MARINETTE TO TAKE THE HIGH ROAD WOULDN'T EFFECT ANYONE?!"
"SERIOUSLY?!"
"WHAT?!"
"ASSHOLE!"
"STUPID!"
"DUDE!"
"ADRIEN, I HATE YOU!"
And so on.
Alix started smiling like a maniac.
"You know what Adrien? No one has to get hurt. No one . . . EXCEPT YOU!"
She cracked her knuckles and gave him all she got.
The rest of the class except Kim stayed and watched Adrien getting what he deserved. The occasional cheers, and all.
The rest of the class started running after Marinette.
"MARINETTE!"
"SLOW DOWN!"
"WAIT FOR US!
"AHHHHHHHHHH! MY LEGS!"
(The last one wasn't needed)
Marinette heard the desperate calls from her former classmates.
"Hey mom," Marinette stopped walking.
"Yeah, Mari?" Her biological mother asked.
"Will you excuse me for juuust a second? I need to deal with fans," Marinette lied.
"Oh, sure! I'll be at the car, 'kay?"
"Will do."
Marinette's smile turned quickly to a frown.
When the class finally caught up, she wasn't impressed.
"MARINETTE!"
"Yeah?" She said, looking up from her polished nails.
"We're so sorry!" Rose said.
Marinette frowned.
"We're so sorry for believing Lila!"
"Yeah! Will you forgive us?"
Marinette started chuckling. Soon that chuckling grew into giggling, and then it turned into laughter.
"What's so funny?"
"You really are I D I O T S. You really think I'll forgive you that easily?"
"Well, yeah."
"Actually yeah."
"By my calculations, that's a 1% chance she'll ever forgive us for what we have done."
"Pfffft. I can see that Max is the only relatively smart one here," Marinette blandly stated.
Marinette turned her fire onto the rest.
"But, you. YOU. YOU left me in the ditch for a 'new' friend. And when it turns out she's a complete bitch, you come back to toy with me. Only this time, I know your true intentions, so go the fuck away!"
"But Mari~" Alya whined.
"Nope. Don't wanna hear your excuses. Now. If you excuse me, I have to go sing a song that I made. See ya, losers," and with that, Marinette walked away from her former chakras. (I needed to ;) ) classmates.
"Hey, guys!" Adrien said.
"OH COME ON!!!"
With Marinette and her mother~
"You took an awfully long time, Mari," Dove said, suspiciously.
"Yeah, those fans are literally rabid animals, get what I mean?"
"So true!"
"So where's the recording studio for the songs again?"
"Right, left another left, and a right."
"Thanks mom."
"I'll see you later, sweetie."
