you can't hide yourself forever, the others will find out eventually.

We had arrived at the training site before sunset which was a relief as we would be starved of food. Surprisingly, we were required to make our own dinner. Personally, I've had about zero cooking experience and several hours of baking classes. I finished gathering wood for the fire. I set it by the pit grill. I let out a sigh, wiping sweat from my forehead.

"Thank you for the extra wood [L/N]." Iida had said, watching Bakugo completely destroy the grill with his explosive quirk.

I glanced over, "...no problem, Iida." I walked off to collect even more wood since Bakugo fucked up the grill. There were about six different pit grills and only wood for three have been collected. A few people had been sent out to collect wood and I was one of the lucky few. I walked in the forest. It was a lot more quiet here and much cooler as the trees had provided shade. I continued to pick up sticks to use to add to the fire when necessary. I swung the axe around, blind to the world around me.

"Watch where you swing that thing, Jesus Christ!"

I turned around slightly, "oh shit, sorry." I didn't bother to see who it was before I ran off to find an easy tree to knock over with the axe. Eventually, I made my way back, adding all the logs into the fire pits. We had to cut shit but my skill with a kitchen knife compared to a hunting knife is lackluster. I glanced over at Bakugo who was cutting vegetables at the speed of light. Out of all the things he would be good at, I didn't expect it to be cooking. I slid over the unevenly cut potatoes towards Kirishima who took them to the pot. I let out a sigh, feeling exhausted by the bustling class of 1-A.

"Do you want to take a break [L/N]?" Ashido asked as she walked past. "I can take over for you if you need to."

"Oh, no, it's fine." I gave her a reassuring smile before continuing to cut onions in a terrible manner. I finished the last cut, setting the large kitchen knife aside.

Dinner had been served. I had put some effort in but people exhaust the shit out of me and I was already sluggish from quirk overuse. I sat away from the group of students, eating the hard earned food on my plate. "[L/N]."

"Aizawa."

"[L/N], can I talk to you?"

"Aren't you doing that already?" I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

"Don't get smart with me, [L/N]." He said, crossing his arms, a small glint of humor in his eyes. I laughed. "Come inside when you're done eating. Don't be slow."

"Damn, I can't even enjoy my dinner normally without being rushed?" I mumbled through a mouthful.

"Don't talk with your mouthful."

"Who are you? My dad?"

Aizawa took a deep breath in, rubbing his temples. I grinned, testing his patience. "Don't forget to see me after dinner."

"Won't miss it by a second." I saluted. Aizawa rolled his eyes and scoffed, walking off. I turned back to my plate.

"Hey, What was that about?" Yaoyorozu said, sitting down across from me.

I blinked in surprise, the spoon half way in my mouth. I licked the spoon clean before I set it back down on the plate. "Oh. Nothing." I said, taking another bite.
