you're not even trying! are you underestimating me?!

I had asked Aizawa if Bakugo and I could have a practice match. He agreed, reluctantly, saying if it got out of hand that he would intervene. Which is. Kind of lame, not going to lie. "You're here late. Are you scared or something?"

"In your dreams," I scoffed, stretching my arms. "Get ready for have your ass beat."

"Whatever, nerd." He rolled his eyes.

"Are you guys ready?" Aizawa asked. Students crowded around to watch, taking a break from their training.

"Born ready." I replied. Bakugo nodded.

"Begin!"

He wanted this to end as fast as possible. Bakugo lunged at me, using his quirk to propel himself even faster. I gulped, waiting for the raging ash blond to come into contact with me. I grabbed his arm as he set off explosions towards me. I leaned back to avoid them, swinging him into the ground. I let out a sigh of relief as I watched him get up. Bakugo lunged once more, setting off more explosions in attempts to hurt me. The explosive boy had gotten closer and closer towards me and it was getting more difficult to dodge as he was quite literally, in my face.

I tried to grab his wrist to limit his movements however Bakugo took the opportunity while I was occupied with his other arm. He set off an explosion in my face. I yelped, letting go of him to try and cover my face. The force of the explosions blew me back. I hadn't even used my quirk yet. It wouldn't be fair if I used it considering what it could do to him. I dig my feet into the ground, sliding backwards. I run forward. Fuck it, it's his fault for wanting a fight. I grabbed a hold of his face, releasing hallucination gas. If I had covered my nose and mouth, he'd realize what I would do. I held my breath, watching him dance around awkwardly as the mist was in the air.

However, it was contained so nobody else inhaled it. I wondered how long it would take for him to snap back in reality. Bakugo set off several explosions while screaming. Though in an hallucination, he was still ready to fight. The boy thrashed around wildly, managing to grab a hold of me. He set off an explosion as he held your arm. That was a low move. I glanced back at my skin. It was burned, but not badly. Clearly he was still worried about hurting people which seemed way out of character for the guy.

The fight wouldn't be fun if he idly danced around while in a hallucination so I quickly grabbed his arms from behind, slamming him into the ground. Bakugo, however snapped out of it and in rage, set off explosions as a warning. I let go abruptly, feeling some of the sparks touching my fingers. He glared at me, "you've only used your quirk once! What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"What do you mean?" I asked, nearly dodging his explosive hand. I made eye contact with him as he backed away.

"You aren't trying at all!"

"Yes I am!" I snapped back, rushing at him. I slammed my fist into his jaw. "If I used my quirk, this wouldn't even be a goddamn fight."

"Tch," was his only reply. I grabbed him, releasing sleeping mist. Bakugo set off an explosion to blow it away. I covered my nose and mouth as it headed my way. "You aren't even trying. Are underestimating me, you dumbass?"

"No, I'm not." I hissed.

"Then use your damn quirk, hero wannabe!"
