Chapter 7

Kotas POV -

I grit my teeth as I push into the room. "How could she?" I grind out. Everyone turns to look at me. "Sorry ignore me." I say taking a seat.

"What's wrong Kota?"Nathan asks.

"Nothing nothing." I grumble.

"Spill it." North says grumbling.

"Jessica is getting married." I tell them looking around to see reactions.

"Wow that's awesome!"

"She's really growing up."

"When is it?"

"I'm happy for her, but I'm not invited, none of us are, she didn't even tell me my mother did." I say.

"Kota it has been years since you saw them. I'd understand why she would be upset." Owen says.

"I've emailed and called though. It's not like I've disappeared from their lives." I say.

"You still kind of have though Kota. She was younger when we left and you're her only sibling. It was probably hard for her." Luke says.

"I've never even met the person she's marrying either. Erica has mentioned someone but no details of who or even the wedding till today. Who's going to give her away? How do we even know this person is a good guy?" I rant.

"Kota calm down we are aware you are concerned. Once we are back in the states you'll be able to do all the background checks and all the things you wish but right now we have other matters to discuss." Owen says. I nod begrungingly leaning back into my chair crossing my arms.

"Any word from Sean?" Victor asks.

"Nothing as of yet. I've tried his email and calling him but nothing. Dr Roberts couldn't  give me much information either  so that wasn't very helpful."

 "Should we be concerned that we can't get ahold of him or any real information?" North asks.

"Sounds kind of sketchy." Gabriel mutters.

"He could just be busy." Nathan says.

"We've tried contacting him for a few months now." I say.

"Maybe on a  extensive mission similar to what we are on? Little to no communication."  Nathan suggests.

"It's possible, do we even know if he as a team currently? I imagine he's been jumping from team to team." Victor says.

"None of that information has been given to us."

"Why is everything so secretive right now? We are his team." North grunts.

I shake my head. "I don't know."

Sang's POV

"Mama I love you!" Dre says in my lap.

"I love you too Mama." Kaleb says louder right in my ear.

"Kaleb baby I love you too." I say kissing his cheek. I sat on the floor in our living room my youngest in my lap, my 3 year old sitting on the couch to my left. My older two kids at the kitchen table painting on little canvases. "I love mama more." Dre says kissing my cheek. I smile down at him and bounce him once.

"I love you Dre."

"No Mama I love you more!" Kaleb yells again.

"Kal you don't need to yell." I say giggling. "Mama hears you. Boys its not a competition I love you both equally."

"Wrong mama loves me more." Savanah yells from the kitchen.

"Why would mama love you more?" Grayson grumbles from the kitchen.

"I'm the only girl thats why." Savanah says tauntingly. Both of my sons right next to me start yelling about them being my favorite.

"Quiet!" The yell makes the kids go silent and turn to the entrance of the hallway that leads to some of the bed rooms. "Mama loves me the best so there is no point in arguing." Raven says grinning coming out of a shadow from the hallway.

All the kids giggle at their daddy. "Oh whatever daddy." Savannah says trying to hide a smile.
