/N: L/n means last name, F/A means fave animal. "On With the Show!" :>

We spent three months away from the opera house. Raoul and Christine had let me stay at their place. I had gotten to know Raoul better and soon we were best friends.

After a while, I decided to go back to the Opera House.

"I must go back Christine."

"But Y/n! He WILL kill you!"

"I KNOW. But I must go and talk to someone." I left for the opera house. I arrived there a day later.

"Hello madame L/n." Madame Giry curtsies and I do the same. I rush down to my room. Left on top of my nightstand is a rose. Wrapped. In. A Black ribbon. I picked it up and hugged it.

Masquerade was the very next day. I wore my f/a mask and this >. Everyone was there. I guess Erik was gone and that is why everyone was celebrating. That thought made me sad.

"Hello Y/n." I turn around to find a man dressed in this -> . He hugged me. i had recognized.

"Stop, Erik! I know that's you." He let go and blushed.

"I am actually Red Death to night." My heart tingled and skipped beats.

"I may have missed you. A little." Erik took my hand.

"I missed you too. Kinda." I playfully nudged his arm. He laughed and let go. I went downstairs to find Raoul and Christine had arrived!

"CHRISTINE! RAOUL!"
"Y/N!" We hugged. I noticed the engagement ring around Christine's neck. I gasp and cover my mouth.
"No way. Christine!" The music was coming to a stop. Red Death was walking down the stairs.

"Why so silent, good Messieurs?
Did you think that I had left you for good?
Have you missed me, good Messieurs?
I have written you an opera!
Here I bring the finished score—
'Don Juan Triumphant'!"

He looked at me and Christine. The ring was looked at.

"Fondest greetings to you all!
A few instructions just before rehearsal starts:
Carlotta must be taught to act
Not her normal trick of strutting 'round the stage
Our Don Juan must lose some weight-

It's not healthy for man Piangi's age.

And my managers must learn
That their place is in an office, not the art

As for our star, Miss Christine Daaé...

No doubt she'll do her best
It's true, her voice is good
She knows, though, should she wish to excel
She has much still to learn
If pride will let her return to me, her teacher
Her teacher..."

Raoul was gone. He was nowhere in sight. Christine, seems to be under Erik's spell, stands still as he approaches her. He reaches out, grasps the chain that holds the secret engagement ring, and rips it from her throat. I gasp.

"Your chains are still mine! You belong to me!" He went through a trap door and Raoul followed. With a sword.

"NO RAOUL, DON'T!" I rush to the trapdoor but Christine grabbed me.

"No Y/n it's too dangerous!"

Christine and I couldn't sleep. The "Don Juan" rehearsals were hepatic. Christine wanted to go see her father's grave with and I agreed. She went to get her coat while I asked the coachman to take us to the graveyard.

TIME SKIP

"You were once
My one companion
You were all
That mattered
You were once
A friend and father
Then my world
Was shattered

Wishing you were
Somehow here again
Wishing you were
Somehow near
Sometimes it seemed
If I just dreamed
Somehow you would
Be here

Wishing I could
Hear your voice again
Knowing that I
Never would
Dreaming of you
Won't help me to do
All that you dreamed
I could

Passing bells
And sculpted angels
Cold and monumental
Seem, for you
The wrong companions
You were warm and gentle

Too many years
Fighting back tears
Why can't the past
Just die?

Wishing you were
Somehow here again
Knowing we must
Say goodbye
Try to forgive
Teach me to live
Give me the strength
To try

No more memories
No more silent tears
No more gazing across
The wasted years
Help me say
Goodbye!"

I had noticed Christine fell in front of the mausoleum, sobbing. In the distance, I could hear Erik's voice. But he was calling me.

"Wandering child, so lost, so helpless, yearning for my guidance."

"ERIK!" I called out.

" Have you forgotten your Angel?"

"Too long you've wandered in winter, far from my fathering gaze."

"Wildly my mind beats against you. Erik where are you?" I ask.

" You resist! Yet the (your) soul obeys!" My eyes filled up with tears. I could feel Erik hugging me. I look up.

"Erik." Erik smiled at me.

"Y/n, I-." Raoul came out of nowhere and stabbed Erik in the arm. Erik took out his sword and cut Raoul's arm. The fighting got intense.

"Guys! Stop it!' I cried. They didn't listen.

"GUYS! WILL YOU STOP IT!?!" I screamed. They still didn't listen. I made a snowball and threw it at Raoul.

"Ow! Y/n, what was that for?" I didn't respond. Christine got on top of Raoul's horse but I didn't.

"Y/n, you should go." Erik said. "Take the carriage." And I did.

Back at the opera, I went to visit Erik the following day to fix up his wounds. I was surprised to hear water rippling and him singing. He sang a beautiful song.

"Shamed into solitude
Shunned by the multitude
I learned to listen
In my dark, my heart heard music

I longed to teach the world
Rise up and reach the world
No one would listen
I alone could hear the music

Then at last, a voice in the gloom
Seemed to cry "I hear you"
I hear your fears
Your torment and your tears

She saw my loneliness
Shared in my emptiness
No one would listen
No one but her
Heard as the outcast hears

No one would listen
No one but her
Heard as the outcast hears."

"Erik?" He was startled. He turned around. His blouse was unbutton so his c-h-e-a-st was showing and it was b-a-r-e. I looked down, blushing.

"What do you want Y/n?"

"To check on you. How's your wound?"

"A bit better now." I came over with alcohol wipes and bandages. (A/n, let's pretend alcohol wipes exist.)

"That was a beautiful song." I compliment.

"To bad the 'outcast' can only hear it."

"I heard it. Does that mean I am an outcast?"

"Maybe." Erik smiled at me.
