Chapter 2 BLACK-BLOODED TERROR - THERE'S A WEAPON INSIDE CRONA?

The scene shows Soul and Maka on one bike, and Ann on another, driving through Italy. A week's passed since Ann and Cole arrived, and have been fitting in well. They've made friends, gotten well acquainted with the teachers, and got good missions.

Soul: hello, Italy! This is one cool country, huh?

Ann: it's as beautiful as it was last time Cole and I were here.

Soul: was it for a mission?

Ann: yeah, we were tracking a Kishin out here that was running an arms deal. We took care of it quickly, and had enough time to check out the city.

Soul: cool. So, what d'ya say? Are you both getting hungry? I think it's about time for some all you can eat pasta. Ya know what they say, "when in Rome, eat lost do pas—.

He's interrupted by Maka smacking her book right on top of his head. Often times when either Soul or one of her classmates angers her, she'll proceed to take her book and slam it dead-centered on their head. This was a move she based off of Lord Death's "Reaper Chop," that she dubs "Maka Chop."

Ann: careful, sis. You don't want him to crash, do ya?

Maka: we didn't come here to be tourists or stuff our faces. Do you get that, Soul? No. We're in Italy for an extracurricular lesson, okay?

Soul: yeah, I do know that, Maka. You didn't have to scramble my freakin' brains.

Ann: calm down, sis. You guys got this.

Maka: easy for you to say. You rarely get these kinds of lessons. But, I don't know why you came along.

Ann: the boss wants me to help keep an eye on you two for this. Plus, think of it as family bonding. Anyways, do you guys have a target?

Soul: our target this time is some murderer named Sonson J, isn't it?

Maka: so you were paying attention?

Soul: of course. This guy likes to lay low until after dark, right?

Maka: nice try, but we're not sightseeing right now. We have to gather more information about the city.

Soul: ugh. Fine!

Ann: don't worry. The sooner we do that, the sooner we explore.

Maka: out of curiosity, why isn't Cole with you?

Ann: he's having his yearly check up with his mom. They always do it since...
