Right after I woke up this morning(I'm an early bird AND a night owl so I don't need much sleep). It was summer right now and it's been half a year since Luna gave me the ticket, but today's the day Luna and I are going to see the Montrose Magpies. I smiled in trumph, the Montrose Magpie was my favorite Quidditch team and it had been hard to get even a single ticket to their match because of their popularity. Wait, now I think about it, how did Luna get those tickets?
As I wondered about how Luna got those tickets, I failed to hear the door creak, and all of a sudden, my comfortor was pulled away from the bed, and a cup of ice water was poured on my face. "MOTHER(MC)!!!" I screamed. "Rise and shine, kiddo." Mother(MC) then opens a curtain before leaving. As she was at the door, mother(MC) smirked. "Remember, today's your first day ever." "MOM!(Penny), mother(MC) is teasing me!" "Hon, come down. I need your help with a new potion. Rowan, get ready and eat some breakfast!"
"Ugh, I shouldn't have stayed up until 4am." I sighed. Yawning, I stood up and went to brush my tooth and washed my face. Then, I changed into a Montrose Magpie jersey, with Rowan Haywood and at the middle, there was a giant 7 on it. I went downstairs and ate my breakfast before leaving. Wearing my red sneakers, I went to the place we chose and there, I see Luna wearing a plain white t-shirt and some kind of jeans. Honestly, it was refreshing than the robes at Hogwarts since we had to wear it every single day.
"Ready?" I asked immediately when I arrived.
"Mhm."
We then apparated to the entrance. Apparating and disapparating is pretty useful. Mother(MC) thought me at the age of 9. Ordinarily, you would need a wand to apparate, and I bought my wand, but for a month straight, I tried to apparating every single day, and after a month, I finally did it. Mother(MC) said that I would get to learn the patronus charm next year if I get good grades, so yeah. I'm aiming for above 95 for each class. Even Snape's.
As we gave the man the tickets, he smiled and allowed us in while giving us some popcorn and a bottle of Orange Fanta(I think Luna got Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice) We went to our seats and......Fine, I'll admit it. I kind of fangirled a bit when the team came out. "GO! SCORE THAT QUAFFLE!!!!", "ON THE LEFT, ON THE LEFT!", etc. Yeah...I may have gone a bit overboard, but it was worth it. That is, until a beater aimed the Quaffle at the audience, more specifically, at my direction. It was like everything was in slow motion and as I glanced around looking for something to deflect it, I saw a baseball bat(I don't know why there was a baseball bat here but whatever). Like what any other sane person would do, I took the bat and swung it, and the ball flew back into the game. The whole stadium cheered.
"Miss, what's your name?", "Would you like to join the Dragon Raiders Jr.'s?", "Can I get a signature!" Oh, Merlin's. What the heck have I done?! As the freakin' stadium surrounded me for no reason at all, Luna was chilling.
"Luna, help? Please." I begged.
Thankfully, she nodded.
"THERE'S NARGLES!!!" She pointed my left.
Everyone took the bait, so I took the chance and escaped the horde while dragging Luna with me.
"Where are we going." Luna asked casually.
"Somewhere. Anywhere. As long as I do not have to deal with this."
And then we disapparated in the middle of a busy street, somewhere.
I looked at the street sign before becoming excited. OMG, I'm in America. More specifically, Austin, Texas.
"Luna, I'm going to introduce you to Sarah."
"Mhm, OK."
We walked for a few streets while kind of looking around(and more than once did I have to pry Luna away from the shops).
