Book 1 : Chapter 4 - The Forbidden Forrest

I sneakily left the Gryffindor Common Room before going down the stairs, somehow avoiding the portraits' attention. I left Hogwarts and went to the forrest, not knowing what to expect. Oh, boy was it dark in there. I would even see things a few feet away from me, which was why I brought out my wand which was made out of Elder wood and Phoenix feather.

It's 12 1/2 inches long and when I first got it, Ollivander was a bit shocked before smiling. "This wand's wood is the rarest wand wood's and its owners are only a highly unusual person will find their perfect match in elder, and on the rare occasion when such a pairing occurs, I take it as certain that the witch or wizard in question is marked out for a special destiny. Being the rarest wand wood of all, and reputed to be deeply unlucky, the elder wand is trickier to master than any other, but it also contains powerful magic . The core being the rarest core type, Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. I have a feeling that you'll change the Wizarding World." he said before I left to buy my supplies for the school year.

"lumos." and a spark of light was lit and I looked at my surroundings. "It's not that ba-" Just as I was about to finish my sentence, I was cut off by a noise behind the trees. I ducked down and hid inside one of the bushes before tried to find the source of the noise. "AHHH! HELP! SOMEONE, PLEASE!" I heard someone scream in the distance and I immediately got up and ran towards the voice. I stopped when I saw a horrid scene of a wizard in masks and a dark robe was torturing someone.

It made my blood boil and suddenly, I felt an urge to do something and I raised my hands up into the air and a wall of water was behind me, I released it, blasting the wizard off his feet(which shocked me, because no wizards should've be able to do it) and I took the chance to run to the person and to my surprise, it was Pansy Parkinson, a Slytherin, and she was passed out. I shook my head before carrying her back to Hogwarts, but I heard something and saw that the wizard shooting spells at my direction. I ran as fast as I could but I knew that I wasn't going to make it, which was I I called on the waves and created a trail out of it so I can leave the Forrest faster. I seemed to have shook the wizard in dark robes off my tail, but I was still being cautious.

I ran through the corridors, waking people up but I didn't care, Pansy had tons of wounds on her body and my rule was that girls shouldn't have rough hands, nor should they get hurt. I kicked the door of the Hospital Wing open(waking up some patients) and found Madam Pomfrey. "What are you doing this late in the nigh-" She stopped when she saw who was in my arms. "Put her into one of the beds." she instructed. "As expected of a nurse." I thought to myself while I laid Pansy onto one of the beds that were empty. As I was about to leave, I was stopped. "What happened to her." she asked while taking care of Pansy. "I have no idea, but I saw her being tortured(?) by a wizard in dark robes in the Forbidden Forrest."

Her eyes widened and she murmured something underneath her breath before asking "Why were you in the Forbidden Forrest?" "Uh.... it's because I was curious." I said, making a excuse. She didn't say anything for a while and the silence was becoming uncomfortable until she said "Go back to your dorm. We'll talk about it later." before checking Pansy again. I left but while I was going back, some students asked me what happened and why I had blood on my robes, but I ignored them. The second I opened my dorm room, Edith yelled "WHY DID YOU TAKE SO LONG TO-" she stopped as she saw my state. Hermione was asleep but the ruckus woke her up. "Why are you guys awake at this time of the nigh-" she was also shocked by the state I'm in and I hate silence so I said "Umm, are you guys alright?"

"ArE yOu GuYs AlRiGhT?" Edith said sarcasticly before yelling "NO, OF COURSE WE'RE NOT!" she yelled, making me flinch. "Wow, dude. Chill out, I'm not going to die." Hermione ran up to me and examined me before sighing. "Hah...Thank Merlin that you don't have any injuries." As I finished changing in the restroom, I came out to Hermione asking "If the blood on your robes weren't yours, then who's is it?"

"Yeah, I'm curious too. What happened to you in the forrest." Edith said, agreeing with Hermione.

I sat down on my bed, tired, before telling them the whole story. Through out the time, Edith and Hermione gasped mulitple times and while I did explain everything that happened in there, I didn't tell them about the part about me using my demigod powers since Hermione was here too. When I finished the story, Hermione was horrified while Edith made a complicated face. "What?" I asked. "There's 95% chance that it was a Death Eater, Rowan. Did you see a tattoo on one of their arms." Hermione asked, worried. "I only see their robes and nothing else. Although it sounded like the wizard was a male." I answered before collapsing on top of my bunk bed.

"Haaa." I yawned. "Let's go to sleep. It is pretty late right now." Hermione suggests. "Yeah, I agree. Besides, I need a good sleep before class tomorrow." I nodded and said my goodnights before falling asleep like a log, not moving until time to go to school. Well...That was what was supposed to happen, but as a Half-Blood, you can almost never have a good sleep. And, so. I entered what would make me wake up. covered in sweat, and stay awake for the rest of the night.
