Nobody's P.O.V

Taehyung and Jungkook were cuddling since it was the weekend and both had decided to hang out at Taehyung's house. They were simply watching Jungkook's favorite, Iron Man.

It wasn't too long into the night when Jungkook's ear had started to slightly sting and burn. He brushed it off telling himself that it was nothing.

It was nothing until the burning and stinging got worse.

He removed his hand from Taehyung's waist, the said male slightly frowning at the movement, now glancing at the younger.

Jungkook slightly whimpered when his finger brushed his ear causing his head to also flinch back.

"Hey.." Taehyung began.

Jungkook turned his head slightly up to look at the older, eyes watery.

"Hey.." Taehyung said once again, now reaching up to cup Jungkook's face.

"What's wrong bun?"

Jungkook's eyes now grow teary, silently cursing himself for having low pain tolerance.

'My ear' was what was supposed to be said,

But what Jungkook actually mumbled out was

"my r"

"What?" The older said, slightly smiling and cooing at the younger's cuteness despite the situation.

"My ear" the younger said more clearly, his voice having a slight waver.

Taehyung peers over Jungkook's cheek to look at his ear, only to find the pretty, glistening jewel on his ear.

Taehyung looks back at the younger with a slight pout of confusion.

"What's wrong with your ear bub?"

"Hurts..."

"It hurts?"

Jungkook nods, staring up at Taehyung with his big, tearful doe eyes.

A sharp sting emerges in Jungkook's ear making a string or tears go down his cheeks.

"No baby.. no don't cry"

Taehyung immediately picks Jungkook up by his underarms and pulls him onto his lap, ending him in a straddling position. Taehyung cups his face once more before delicately turning his head to the side so that he can get a better look at his ear.

He notices the bottom area of the ear is extremely reddened once he gets a side view of it, the sight making him frown.

"Do you wanna take the earring out..?"

Jungkook sniffles and hiccups before slowly nodding his head.

Taehyung reaches over the bed and grabs a tissue from the nightstand placing it on the other's lap. He then reaches up to Jungkook's ear to grab onto the earring, only for Jungkook to flinch away with a slight whimper when his finger brushes against it.
