Chapter 2 (Time skip)

"Juwa wake up." Kogami ordered. "I don't wanna" I mumbled as I rolled over. I felt his arms around my waist "If you don't get up I can't make you chocolate chip pancakes." he muttered huskily in my ear "Heartless ass" I mumble. "You know Inspector Ginoza's going to have a fit if you don't get up." He pointed out. "Fine... but first.." I giggled as I slid my hands down his bare chest. "Can you pretty please make coffee?" I begged him.

"Fine I'll make you coffee if you do something for me.." he said with a sly smile. "Shinya Kogami! Your such a flirt!" I exclaimed with a slight blush. "Juui Hwa-Young!" he said mockingly. "Jerk.." I muttered. He just chuckled and walked into the kitchen. "God I love that man." I muttered. As I pulled on our standard suit which I pared with a purple tie. The only thing I dint wear like the others was the pants I wear black shorts and I would never wear one of thoughs stupid jacket thingys, I pulled my midlingth blond hair up in two pig tailes something easy and low efort after putting on my new glasses.

As I walked into the kitchen to get my soul food. He scanned my outfit and said "You know you are very distracting when you dress like that." I grinned "Well if I'm going to be stuck in that office with you for the remainder of this case I should at least get to be comfortable, am I right?" I enquired raising a brow. "If I remember right its your fault we cant work this case."

I balled my fists "Yes It is. But who agreed with me?" I shot back suddenly angry. We can't work on this case because we both have our own vendettas against the perp, one that would make us act in an unwise way. "I did.." he whispered as the pain in his eyes mirrored mine. I laid my head on the table, covering my head. I sobbed quietly. "H..he...I.." I sobbed. "hey..." He whispered to me as I pushed him back. "Please don't touch me..." I told him while I wiped my eyes. He took a step back, his eyes still on me.

"I'm sorry... Its not... its not you I just.. Need to calm down." The hurt in his eyes melted away as I walked to him. I slipped my arms around his waist "I love you." I grinned. "I know and I love you too." I said as I started humming my favorite song 'Epiphany' it was an old song but it's amazing. "What song is that?" he asked, clearly intrigued. "It's called 'Epiphany' it is a old song." I informed him. "Well I like it you'll have to show me it after work."

"Inspector Akane Tsunemori. I need you to stay here with Kogami and Hwa-Young." Inspector Ginoza told her. She smiled "Yes Sir!" Akane exclaimed "Kogami and Hwa-Young do not give Akane any problems ok?" he said as he directly looked at me. I gave him my 'Oh fuck you' look.

I pulled up the paperwork I was to be doing. Something I couldn't focus on at all. Sighing, I laid my head down on the desk. "Ugh!" I grumbled. Kogami head shot up and looked my way with a worried look on his face. "You ok Juui?" He asked "Yeah I'm just peachy!" I said sarcastically. "Inspector Tsunemori? May I go on a quick walk?" I requested.

"Sure... Are you sure you're ok?" she frowned as I swayed a little on my feet "Yeah I'm fine just a little light headed." I replied. I felt my body start to fall. I felt Kogami's arms around me. "Kogami I think you should take her to her room." Inspector Tsunemori declared. "Inspector Tsunemori, if I take her to her room, I don't think I should leave her there alone." Kogami gave me a worried look. "Then you may stay with her. I will give Inspector Ginoza a call to let him know what's going on." She said. "Nobuchika? No don't.." I muttered 'he's already mad at me...' I thought.
