"Juui? Are you ok?" Inspector Tsunemori asked. "Yep I'm just fine I asked you here because I have something for you. It's from Ginoza. He asked if I would give it to you." I told her. She stared at the folded piece of paper in confusion. "Is it a note or for a case?" I smiled and whispered "It's a special note only for you." He looked at me then back at the note. "Is it a love note?" he asked in an eager whisper. "Possibly just read it!" I said in excitement. Kagari just stood behind us in confusion. She opened it and her eyes scanned the note, her face lighting up the more she read. "Is this real?" she asked quietly. "One hundred and ten percent." I said with a grin. The look on her face was so happy. "You should go talk to him." I said and with that she basically ran out the door.
"What was that about?" Kagari asked. "Oh nothing just helping out a friend." I explained. "So what do you need help with?" he asked. "I wanted to know if you could help me move the bed." I asked with a smile. "Sure I'll move the bed. You are not moving anything." He said with a grin. After he moved the bed I walked over and handed him a plate of food that I had cooked while he was moving things. "Hungry?" I asked he nodded "Ok Kagari I have a question for you." I said as I sat across from him with my own plate of food. "Shoot." He said between bites of food. "Do you think I'll be a good mother? I'm worried I'll mess up somehow.." I said as I constricted my gaze on my food. "I think you and Kogami will make perfect parents. You always look so happy when you look at the baby bump. And have you seen the way Kogami looks at you two? Its like he's found his true place in the world." Kagari clarified for me. "Thank you Kagari... so much for your kind words..." I said between the tears that started to drop down my face.
"Why is she crying?!?" Kogami said accusingly from the doorway. "I...I'm fine. He didn't do anything... I'm just so happy." I said between the sobs. "Then why are you crying?" Kogami asked in a soothing tone. Making me miss Makishima. "Because I'm happy..." I muttered. I muffled "Thank you so much Mak...." quietly. "What?" Kogami clearly did not hear what I said. "I said thank you Kagari.." I wiped my eyes.
"I'm sorry. I just don't know why I started crying. Want some food Kogami?" I asked him. "Sure thanks. Kagari you can go." Kogami said. "Oh and I saw what you did for Tsunemori and Ginoza, that was really nice of you." He muttered in my hair while he pulled me into his lap. "Well I was helping Ginoza get up he's courage to tell her how he feels but then I realized he would never tell her. So I made him write it down." I whispered as I felt Gi moving around "Oof... Baby calm down..." I muttered to him as he kicked me in the ribs. "Shh Gi baby calm... don't kick mama too hard." He cooed. He calmed down "I love you my little Gi" I whispered I felt a soft kick in response.
