Chapter 14

As we walked into his room I could feel that something was clearly off, "Kogami did you move some stuff in here?" I asked in a hushed whisper. "No why?" he asked in puzzlement. "Things are in places where things weren't yesterday. As I looked over at the rocking chair sat a sleeping Kagari who was holding Esmeray who was sound asleep. "Kagari..." I whispered gently "Juui?" he muttered "Kagari wake up." I said lightly. "I'm sorry... I heard him crying and it made me want to help." He explained softly.

"Shh Kagari it's okay you can stay here tonight but he needs to get use to sleeping in his bed. I'm happy you're here. I thought you were a kidnapper or something..." I said with a soothing smile. "Thank you Juui... You don't have to let me stay..." he said with a sad smile. "No way am I kicking you out. Plus he loves you." I nodded towards the sleeping body of my baby. "Thank you Juui this means a lot to me you have no idea..." he said with a huge smile. "Kagari if he's happy then that's all I care about." I soothingly whispered as I sat up on the airbed he would be sleeping on. "As long as you are around he's happy." Kogami whispered. "Thank you guys." He whispered back as he fell asleep.

"Kagari is like the brother I have never got to have..." I whispered to Kogami as we walked out of the room. "I can see why you feel that way." He whispered back. "Kogami... do you think it's a good idea for him to be around..." I stopped. "Never mind." I said brushing it off. "I got you something." He said with an embarrassed look. "Really?" I said enthusiastically I basically jumped up and down. "Why are you so excited?" he asked with a smile. "Because you always give me the best gifts!" I exclaimed as I sat on the bed. "Well?" I asked, bouncing up and down. He handed me a little blue box "Happy anniversary!" he said with yet another heart stopping smile. "I got you something to wait here." I ran/walked into the bathroom and pulled a green box from my hiding spot. "Open it first!" I said with a grin he lifted the lead.

"Did you make this?" he asked in astonishment. "Yeah... Gi helped hence the handprint." I explained. "Ok now open mine." He said with just as much excitement he had when we brought Gi home. I pulled off the tiny little pink bow gently. I pulled out another little box my eyes filled with tears. "Kogami..." he took the box out of my hands and got on one knee "Juui hwa-Young will you marry me?" he asked me softly. "Yes!" I said through tears of joy. "I love you more than anything in the world, Juui." Kogami said as he slipped the blue and gold ring on my ring finger. "I love you more than life itself, Kogami." I whispered.
