A knock at the door pulled me out of my daze. I walked to the door and opened it. "Inspector Ginoza is that you?" I asked not sure if that's who I was talking too because he looked like him excepted his hair was way longer than it was the last time I saw him. "Yeah, I know I could use a hair cut." He said with a smile. "Someone's in a good mood." I said as I readjusted Gi on my hip. "Well yeah I came to see the big man." He said as he pointed towards Gi. "Ah I see, come in." I said opening the door widely. "Who all is planning on invading my space today?" I asked Ginoza with a sigh. "Well Akane said she's going to come by later and Karanomori wants to come by and do a check up on both of you." Ginoza said with a smile.
"Do you want to hold him?" I asked Ginoza, Gi loved to play with his hair. "Sure!" he said enthusiastically. "I have a feeling I know why you let your hair grow out." I said with a smile. "I don't know what you mean." Ginoza lied. "Mhm..." I whispered. "It definitely has nothing to do with this." I said as I pointed to Gi who had his hands in his hair. "No! I just like it long." He lied again. "Ok whatever." I said with a sly smile. "Heyyyy Kogami... Will you cook me some pancakes?" I asked with a huge smile. "Sure." He said as I walked over to Ginoza and Kagari who were playing with GI . "Hey Ginoza your not the only one who needs a haircut." I pointed out as I pulled my long blond hair up into a bun. "Ill see you guys latter." Kagari called from the door. My stomach churned "Be careful!" I yelled as I heard the door shut.
Three raped knocks on the door told me that Karanomori was here I walked to the door and opened it. "Hey Karanomori, come to invade my space have we?" I asked. "I sure as hell did. I also came to bring you this" she said as she handed me an envelope. "What is this?" I asked in confusion. "I'm not sure, someone just dropped it at the off today." She said with a smile. "I wonder who its from.." I muttered as I opened it inside a handwritten note as I started reading it the tears stung my eyes a sob choked caught in my throat "Kagari..."
