(Two more days later)

A13 and his men gathered under the apple tree, the place where they agreed to meet at two days ago.

One by one they arrived at the location. They are all wearing their combat suits and all of them are armed except Jason. Their eyes filled with determination and seriousness.

'Okay, is everyone here?' I asked

'What? You want more?' Fung asked back. 'You already have half a squadron's worth of firepower and you still want more?'

'Okay then. I take this as a yes.' I announced. 'Let's go guys! Time isn't waiting for us.'

The gang jogged towards the pier. 'Hey A13.' Jason said during the journey. 'I brought a drone with us. It should be helpful when we need to scout around the perimeter.'

'Good.' I said. 'Make good use of it.'

We made it to the pier in no time. Just as I expected, the pier is closed and unguarded at a Saturday midnight. There is no security camera at the pier so no one would notice us as we sneaked into it. We helped each other to climb over the fences and soon all of us are in the pier. We picked a ship that is large enough to carry all of us and I stole it with my 'universal key'. Jason started the ship while I checked for the amount of fuel remain. Thankfully, the ship owner seemed to have just refueled recently, and the fuel tank is almost full. We all sat inside the cabin, leaving Jason to sail the ship.

As we were sitting in the ship, we checked our equipments and ensured everything we need is working properly. It took us 3 hours to get to K city, as Jason had gathered enough intel to set a course that allows us to avoid any destroyers patrolling in this region. It is a longer route compared to the regular one, but compared with being intercepted by the K city navy and thereby compromises our entire plan, this is a time cost we are willing to pay.

We landed secretly on an unknown beach in K city. Little did I know that Monika set foot at the exact same location a year ago. I placed a tracker on our ship. The tracker will emit a radio wave with specific frequency for the next 24 hours which will allow us to track our ship. This is to ensure we know where our ship is when we return.

With the help of the GPS on my smartwatch and my memories, I lead my squad to the mansion after an hour of walking. We climbed a mountain in the rural area, which is just a few hundred meter away from the mansion and allows us to oversee the entire structure.

Curtis unholstered his Kar98k and slowly attached a scope onto it. Jason's drone took off and did some recon near the mansion.

'Two guards in front of the gate, just as expected.' Jason said as he controlled his drone via his laptop. 'Please wait while I hack into his private server.'

We waited patiently for Jason. 'Okay now. Curtis, you're up.' He said after several minutes.

We watched as Curtis adjusted his scope precisely. He loaded exactly two bullets into the gun and pulled the bolt. He then aimed carefully and adjusted his aim. After another 20 seconds, he squeezed the trigger gently and immediately pulled the bolt afterwards to load another bullet. This process is repeated once and he put down his firearm afterwards.

'It is done.' Curtis said. His face without any expression.

I looked into my binocular and saw two dead guards lying in front of the gate, while the other guards inside are completely oblivious of what just happened. The suppressor on Curtis's gun did a great job at concealing our presence.

'Excellent work.' I said. 'Curtis and Jason, you two stay here to oversee the battlefield. Rest of you guys, follow me. Let's go!'

Me and my squad proceed to advance towards the mansion. With the help of the vegetation in the rural area and the dark, moonless night, we managed to sneak up on the front gate without anyone noticing. 'Night vision goggles off.' I ordered. The mansion is well illuminated so we won't need them for now.
