Samantha's POV
--
Hi. I just moved to the city of Memphis, Tennessee. I moved here because I got a job as a teacher at Cleveland Forest High School.I sat down on the edge of my large brown bed. It didn't have much to it.
"The winning numbers are 21, 36, 59, and... 23! Congrats to tonight's winner!" The man on TV said, while standing next to a small machine that picks out numbers for the lottery.
"Yep. Congrats to who won, which'll never be me." I said, slumping down. All I've ever wanted in life was a boyfriend, but never achived that.
Suddenly, I heard my doorbell ring. I got up off my bed and ran to the door to answer it. When I opened it, I instantly melted. My heart did too.
"H-Hi." I managed to say.
"Hey. I saw you're new here, so I wanted to stop by and say hi." The male said.
"That's really nice of you, thanks." I smiled.
"Is it okay if I come in?" He asked.
"Yeah, not a problem," I told him, and welcomed him in. "What's your name?"
"Justin."
That name perfectly matched his looks. He had blue eyes, gently moussed back hair, and facial hair.
His outfit was better than mine, actually; a tan leather jacket, a black shirt, dark blue jeans, and white dress shoes."What's yours?" He asked me, quickly snapping out of my thoughts.
"Samantha." I answered.
"That's a beautiful name, Sammy. I'll make sure to remember that. Do you mind if I call you that?"
"No, not at all."
"Great. Do you have any jobs?"
"Well, I'm a teacher at Cleveland Forest High School."
"I'm actually the music teacher at that school."
Really? Now he works at the same school as me? This'll be great. At least I can admire his hotness.
"Where do you live, actually?" I asked.
"Across the street."
Dang it.
*Later*
"So, we'll see each other tomorrow at school?" I asked Justin.
"Yeah, probably." He answered.
He stuck out his hand for me to shake, but I pulled him into an awkward hug.
"I-I'm sorry." I quickly apologized, as we broke apart from the hug.
"I-It's fine. That happens to me a lot." He smiled and blushed a little.
"Oh, okay. So, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye Samantha." He said, and winked at me.
What? Why did he wink at me? I'm not cute!
I just shrugged it off, walked back into my room, and continued watching TV.
A/N: Hope that was good, because I'm freaking out right now from this story. I'm aiming for about, 400 reads or 200. That's a lot of reads for me.
