"Wake up Ronald. Wake up." whisper-shouted someone from the other room. Slowly I rubbed my eyes and took in my surroundings. Ginny stirred awake on the twin bed next to me, the red and orange patchwork blanket being pushed off her. I looked through the slight gap of the red curtains to see it was still pitch black outside. Although today would be an exciting day, the final of the Quidditch World Cup, waking up at this time was definitely not exciting.

"Ginny, (Y/N), wake up." Hermione whispered more gently as she slowly opened the door to Ginny's room. Of course it was her shouting at Ron at this time in the morning. "Breakfast is ready." she said before slowly shutting the door. I pulled the fuzzy brown blanket over my head; could someone not just carry me there?

-------------------------------------------------------

After a rushed breakfast due to Ron falling asleep again after Hermione had woke up the house, we were off. We walked quickly through the forest in hopes of finding...honestly no-one knew what we were looking for.

"(Y/N) why are you coming with us?" Ron asked as he stumbled due to him still be half asleep. I gave him I look of being offended before he said, "No I'm not trying to be rude I was just wondering because you said your dad was going to be there as well."

"My dad left a few days ago to attend some meetings. You know that he's a lawyer for some professional Quidditch players? Well this year he signed-"

I was cut off by someone jumping down from one of the tall trees. He was a middle-aged looking man with a cap and glasses. "Arthur!" he shouted loudly; definitely too loud for this time in the morning. "Hello Amos," Arthur replied, "Sorry we are late, some of us had a sleepy start. This is Amos Diggory everyone, he works we me at the Ministry."

From the trees dropped another person, this time a young and gorgeous boy. "You must be Cedric Diggory." Arthur stated, shaking his hand. As they continued on walking and talking ahead of us, Hermione, Ginny and I gave each other 'the look'.

"Is he your mystery guy?" Hermione said to me, a playful tone to her voice. I laughed it off before Ginny asked, "What are you talking about?"

"(Y/N)'s been sending letters all summer to a mystery guy at Hogwarts. I found one of his replies to her on the floor when I went round to hers. He asked her to sit with him on the train but she snatched it from me before I could see who it was from."

I rolled my eyes at her as Ginny and her changed the conversation. Cedric looked back at us, giving us a sweet smile. I wouldn't mind sending him letters all summer but it was definitely not him.

-------------------------------------------------------

We finally arrived at the very large campsite. I felt slightly dizzy after our trip; PortKey was definitely not my preferred way of transport. Hundreds of people flew across the campsite on their brooms, chasing each other and having fun. Music echoed throughout the field; there was a large aura of positivity throughout the crowd. Cedric smiled at me as we parted ways causing Hermione to stop taking in the sights and tease me again.

The beige coloured tent that everyone else would be staying in sat in the middle of the crowd. On the outside it looked like it could barely house two people but once inside it really captured the beauty of magic. The tent had many rooms, all decorated with bright coloured carpets and cushions. Although I would be staying with my dad after the match, I made myself at home by jumping on Hermione's bed, causing a massive pillow fight.

-------------------------------------------------------

Fireworks echoed throughout the enormous stadium mixing with the sounds of the crowd. "Blimey Dad how far up are we?" Ron asked rhetorically as we made our way up another flight of stairs.

"Well put it this way, if it rains you will be the first to know." said a snobby voice coming from the level below us. Lucius Malfoy came into view with Draco just behind. "Father and I are in the Minister's box with personal invitation from Conelius Fudge himself." Draco added, causing his father to reprobate him. As we decided to ignore them, Lucius grabbed Harry using his overly decorated walking stick. "Do enjoy yourself won't you," He said, while maintaining eye contact, "while you can."

Weird.

"(Y/N) darling." called my father who had appeared near Draco. "Come down here, our seats are on this level." I hugged all the others and stated I would hang out with them after the match before walking down to meet my father.

"These seats are amazing." He said excitedly as we continued to walk. What he failed to mention was they were in the Minister's box and the whole area was filled with old men who continuously talked about the boring side of the match.

As my father spoke to someone on his left, I studied the box waiting for the match to begin. I turned behind me to see Draco, his eyes already fixed on me. As we held eye contact for a few seconds he looked down and smirked before looking back up at me.

Now how was I going to tell my Slytherin-hating, especially Malfoy-hating best friends that the boy I had been sending letters to was Draco?
