The crisp afternoon air surrounded the courtyard, allowing many groups of students to hang out together outside without it being too cold. I laid on soft grass, taking in as much vitamin D as I could from the autumn sun. Hermione sat against a tree trunk reading the tenth book she had taken out from the library since the start of the school year. She pestered Harry and Ron to finish copying our Herbology homework as lesson was due to start in 15 minutes.

"Blimey Hermione calm down it was your idea to let us copy because you didn't want us getting detention." Ron said with an annoyed tone as he handed her back her copy which was slightly crumpled due to him not caring about presentation. Harry placed mine neatly on top of my books; I was glad to have given him mine to copy.

I sat up and sat closer to Harry while Ron and Hermione bickered. "Who's name do you think is going to get taken out of the Goblet of Fire." I asked Harry.

"Honestly I'm not sure, it's going to be really interesting once the actual Tournament begins." He answered.

"You would have been great at it if you were allowed to put your name in and it got picked."

"I know I would have." Harry said, humour in his voice which caused me to laugh. We turned to face Hermione and Ron who had just finished their first but not the last small argument of the day.

I really do love my friends.

Me and Draco walked side by side down the corridor during our study period. Getting to know him was becoming easier and I'd definitely say I had taken a fancy to him.

Wait what.

We passed through the corridor which exited outside and moved into the main portion of the castle. As we were about to pass a corner, my dad came into view, chatting with a Durmstrang student.

Oh no.

Grabbing Draco's hand, I pulled him around the corner wall so we were out of site. "Ow, what?" Draco asked, his face presenting a confused expression. "My dad's here." I whispered as I poked my head around the corner.

My dad continued to talk to the student; I wanted to chat with him but I didn't want him seeing me with Draco. I was quite sure he didn't like the Malfoys.

Scanning the area for a better hiding place, I grabbed Draco's hand and ran into a cupboard which had a good view of where my dad was standing.

The cupboard was slightly spacious; it was still piled high with books, cauldrons and spare owl cages. The room was lit from the sunlight coming from the gap under the door.

I left the door very slightly ajar so I could spy on my father. Draco scanned the shelves, picking up different sized bottles and beakers.

As I turned to face him, my foot got caught on a waist high stack of textbooks, causing my balance to hinder. My body started to fall until Draco's arms caught me from hitting the floor. He pulled me up, allowing me to place my hand on his chest to catch my balance again.

My eyes found his just like when we were in the kitchen. His eyes looked darker, more a deep blue due to the lack of lighting. I started to turn away again when his hand grabbed my face and our lips met.

It felt soft at first, as though we both weren't sure each other wanted it. But when it continued it became more passionate and my arms subconsciously found themselves wrapped behind his neck.

He pulled away, breaking the moment I enjoyed more than I thought. "Oh." I could only make out as his signature grin found it's way back on his face.
