Saving the Twins

"Hey Aaron, are we ever going to get out of here?" Alex asked.

"Or at least have good food?" Justin begged.

"You get what you get," Aaron hissed. "Don't think that I don't know about that signal you sent out."

Justin and Alex's eyes went wide. "What?! No!" they said, shaking their heads.

"You two think you're more clever than you are. Your friends are probably on their way which means that we need to get this show on the road." He walked over to the machine that is connected to what he's using to hold Justin and Alex.

Justin and Alex became afraid, but were trying to hide their fear. They weren't very successful.

"Scared? Are you? Good! That'll make this all the more fun." He turned it on and Justin and Alex immediately started feeling their powers draining.

"What's happening?!" Alex started panicking.

"I think...he's taking our powers!" Justin also started panicking.

"This is probably not the most ideal thing to happen to two people who suffer panic attacks, but I didn't choose who gets to be elemental twins," Aaron said with a smirk on his face as he watched Justin and Alex growing weaker as well as well as stuggling breathe.

Destiny's Bounty

"We're approaching our destination," Rosie said.

"Good," Max said.

"What's that?!" Juliet yelled as she sees lightning and water shoot into the air and combining together.

"That's not good!" Mason yelled.

"They're in trouble!" Zeke yelled.

"Not just them, but Ninjago too!" Harper added.

"Max, it's your call," Felix said.

"Alright everyone," Max started. "Masks on." Everyone put there masks on. "Let's save the twins!"

They all jumped out of the Bounty and ran over to the source of the power surge.

"Why is it always a creepy abandoned warehouse?" Mason asked.

"You would really think we would just automatically try that first," Juliet said.

"Guys, focus!" Max snapped.

"Sorry Max," Juliet and Mason said.

"You all know the plan?" Max asked. They all nod. "Let's do this."

They snuck in and found the room that Justin and Alex were in with Aaron monitoring the machine. Both twins had collapsed in their containment cells.

"JUSTIN!!!" Rosie yelled.

"ALEX!!!" Max yelled

"Look who's here," Aaron said as he noticed the team had arrived.

"Let them go!" Max hissed.

"I don't think so. Their powers along with them also being twins will cause the biggest storm Ninjago has ever seen. Their will be no power for weeks. The city will be completely flooded and in the chaos, I will use the teleportation devices we created to teleport in and step up as the leader."

"As if." Max narrowed his eyes.

"Goons!" The men that work for him come out. "ATTACK!!!" They started to circle the ninja and samurai.

"Max, you and Rosie should go free Justin and Alex," Mason said.

"No way," Max said angrily. "I want to fight this guy."

"No! You two are the closest to them and I don't want you crossing a line." Mason paused. "Go get them out. We'll handle this."

Max growled. "Fine. Rosie, come with me!" Juliet, Mason, Zeke, Harper, and Felix fought the goons while Max and Rosie ran over to the machine, but they were stopped by Aaron.

"Where do you think you two are going?" Aaron asked.

"Move," Max hissed.

"What if I don-" Max cut Aaron off by shooting his energy powers at him which hit him and he flew back.

"I think you have anger issues," Rosie said.

"Don't get in my way when I'm trying to save the people I care about," Max said. They managed to get over to the machine and saw Justin and Alex who lost consciousness. "We have to get them out of there!"

Rosie hops over of her mech and starts working on deactivating the machine. "Max, I need you to keep any goons that may come off of me to buy me some time."

"I'm on it!" Max gets into a defense position, guarding Rosie while she does her thing.

"Ok team," Mason starts. "Stay together. We can take these guys." Juliet, Mason, Zeke, Harper, and Felix are huddled in a circle, fighting off the goons.

"Well, we have something they don't," Juliet said. "Elemental powers."

"Except me," Harper said. "Luckily, I know how to fight."

"Work together," Mason said. "Do not let them inside our circle."

"Right," the others said as they continued to fight.

"Come on Rosie!" Max said impatiently.

"Almost!" Rosie said as she was trying to finish up. "Got it!"

The machine stopped and Rosie pulled out Justin while Max pulled out Alex.

"It's time to wake up beautiful," Max said as he cupped Alex's cheek with his hand.

Alex eyes fluttered open. "You know how corny that line was, right?" Alex asked weakly.

"I knew it was after I said it."

"Come on. Wake up Justin," Rosie said desparately.

Justin slowly opened his eyes. "What? You miss me?" he weakly said with a smirk.

"You can be so annoying sometimes." Rosie smiled.

"I know, but that's why you love me."

"We're going to get you two out of here," Max said. "Can either of you stand?" Both of the twins try to stand and fail. "Well, I guess that's not gonna work."

The others ran up to them. "We need to get out of here," Mason said.

"Those teleportation devices are becoming a real pain," Zeke commented.

"Are you two ok?" Juliet asked the twins. Justin and Alex nodded.

"They're really weak," Rosie said.

"There are other ways to get them out of here than having them walk," Max said. He proceeded to pick Alex up bridal style. He looked at Alex. "Don't worry. I've got you."

"Stay here for just a second Justin," Rosie said. She went back into her Samurai X mech and used it to pick up Justin.

"I guess that works," Mason said.

"Let's get out of here!" Juliet said. She and Mason cleared a path for the others and they all ran back to the Bounty.

This time, Felix took the wheel so that Max and Rosie could take care of Justin and Alex.

"Alright Felix," Mason said. "Take us home."
