Chapter 13

I wake up at ten with a knock at my door telling me that I will be getting a roommate between eleven to twelve. I say ok then go get ready for the day. I check my phone there's a good morning text from Derrick I text him back and one text from Kate also, which I text her back to. I then go check in to my dorm room and go get my list and my books. As soon as I get back to my room there is someone's stuff on the bed across from me.

I put my stuff away and wonder who it is. I wait for them to come back for a little. I hear someone turning the door knob as soon as they open it I scream! She drops her stuff and I run and give her a big hug! "Oh my gosh Kate I can't believe you got into this college and everything and your now my roommate oh my gosh"!

"Yeah I wanted to surprise you, so how are you and Derrick"? "You guys finally did it"? "Yes it was amazing"! "How has your life been"? "Same old same old no guys in my life".

"Aw well I'm sure you will find one here". We keep talking and the I help her check in and get her books. Later we go out to town. Then we go back and get ready and sleep. The next couple of weeks go by and my classes are ok.

I don't really like them, but I have to deal with them. Then the first month goes by. One day I was just getting ready for my classes I end up having to run to the bathroom. Kate runs after me. "Is everything ok"?

"Yeah just vomited". "Ooo I'm sorry here". She checks my temperature and its normal. She looks at me. "Hey when is your class over two hours from ten".

"Ok hey you want to go grab lunch after your class"? "Sure". I clean up and go to class. After class we go to lunch. Kate hands me something and tells me to go to the bathroom and not look at it till I get there, also not to question it just read and do.

I listen and trust her. I look at the box and get scared. I do what it says then wait. It then comes up as pregnant. I walk quickly out to Kate and show her we get excited.

After we eat we leave and go straight back to the dorm. I text Derrick and see what he is doing and if he can talk. He tells me he is in class it's almost over and asks if he can text when he gets home. We sit and wait. thirty mins later my phone goes off I answer.

"Hey beautiful what's up"? "Is everything ok"? "You never ask to talk to me this bad before I was getting worried". "Really is everything ok"? I then FaceTime him.

I have Kate put the phone somewhere he can see me and her. "Baby there is something I have to tell you". Kate chimes in. "It's not bad it's good trust me". I lightly kick her.

She looks at me. "Um hello baby, Kate what the hell is going on"? "Alright you ready for this"? "Yes"! "Hazel just tell him already".

"GUESS WHAT"! "WERE HAVING A BABY I AM PREGNANT". "OH MY GOSH BABY I'M SO EXCITED!" "Do you know how many weeks you are"? "No I don't I'll have to call a doctor and make an appointment, I know you want to be there for the appointment but I'm sorry"!

"I understand baby I love you so much and I am so excited were having a baby together". We keep talking then we end the call. I then call the doctors office the closet one and they give me the number to one close to me that can see me for being pregnant. I then call them and get an appointment for after class on Wednesday. I text Derrick when I have the appointment so he knows and I tell him I will tell him everything.

The day goes by we end up buying a trash can so I can not be running to the bathroom. Then we get ready for bed and I go to sleep.
