Chapter 14

The next day the same morning sickness and then class. Finally it's Wendnesday. I get scared and excited I go to class and then it's the appointment time I take a cab. Kate couldn't go with me because she has class but wants to know everything. I text Derrick.

"Hey baby what are you doing"? "Do you have class right now"? I wait then my phone goes off. "Hey baby no I'm with Nate hanging before he goes to class, why what's up"? "I'm on the way to the doctors for the first check up to see how I am and the baby and how many weeks I am and stuff".

"Yes I almost forgot about that baby". "Hey do you want me to ask if I can FaceTime you so it's like your there but can see and stuff"? "Yes if you can that would be amazing I would really love that". "Alright I'll text you as soon as I find out". "Ok I love you baby".

I get to the doctors office and ask right away I explain that I have a fiancé back in my home town and he is the father of the baby and if it's ok to FaceTime him so he can be at the appointment. They say it's fine. I text Derrick and let him know he says cool and we FaceTime right away. We go into the room and I lay on the bed and we put my phone somewhere so Derrick can see. They then tell me to lift my shirt up so they can do an ultra sound.

They start putting this stuff on me and start looking on screen at my belly. I then hold the phone so Derrick can see. He asks if I'm far along that we can see the baby on the ultra sound. The doctor says no to early have to be at least two months. The doctor then looks at me.

"Everyone looks great your about three weeks glad you came in when did, you both seem to be doing good and nothing is wrong." The doctor then says she is done so I tell Derrick I will call him when I get out of here and he agrees to. I hang up and get ready to go pay co pay. "Hazel"? I turn and look at the doctor.

"Hey I suggest you take the next flight you can back home before something happens". "What about my school and classes"? "Well tell you processors what is going on and how you are and see if they do live online classes while there teaching, other then that I can't help you". "Ok thanks". I go pay and leave. I then call Derrick.

"Hey beautiful"! "Hey you". "Thanks so much for FaceTiming me during the appointment". "It was not a problem since it is your baby and I love you so much I wanted you to be there anyways". The cab stops and I get out at the college.

"Baby I miss you and want you both here". "Aw baby I love you I'll be home for Christmas trust me". "That to far away and you could get big and everything I want you here so I can be with you every step of the way". "I know baby I know".i get to my dorm room and unlock it.

"Hey I'm kind of tired I guess this baby is making me feel that way". "Yeah sure baby take as song as you need I love you so much". "I love you so much to baby". I then fall asleep. I then wake up to the door opening.

I see its Kate. "Hey how did the appointment go"? "Oh good I'm three weeks pregnant". "that's good". "yeah the doctor also told me I should get the next flight home to be close to Derrick if anything happens".

"I understand, what's going to happen to your classes"? "Well I have to go talk to my professors and see if they do online or anything like that so I could watch at home". "That stinks you have to go home I'll miss you." "I'll miss you to". "Yeah I'll start emailing my last two professors then talk to the rest this weekend then if they do I'll make the next flight home."

"Yeah it just stinks hey want to go get dinner soon after we go to the shopping mall"? "Sure just let me email my two professors then we can go". I email both of my professors then we leave for the mall. We shop Kate buys something I can use for the baby when it comes. Then later we have dinner and dessert.

Then we go back to our dorm and talk. After a while it becomes eight pm so I go get ready for bed and we go to sleep.
