By my hands, or his?

"I'm sorry"

"For what?"

"For what i did, when i was-"

"Stop. I don't want to have this talk again"

"But I-"

"STOP!"

"I'm sorry"

"Please, don't blame yourself. We both know you couldn't do anything. You weren't the one in control."

"But i could see it all. I saw what I did. How I..........I couldn't do anything. It all happened by my hands and I couldn't stop it. Jerry, Susan, Jan, little Sophie..........my hands."

"But not you. You weren't the one in control. It was HIM, not you. Don't blame yourself for what happened."

"But I feel like I could've prevented it all. If i wasn't so stupid. If i just did what he wanted-"

"Not doing what he wanted was the right thing to do."

"How can you-"

"Stop yourself there. We both know doing what's right won't always be easy. Yes, it cost the lives of many, but he's dead now. Your co-operation would've made things even worse. We wore screwed from the start, regardless of what you chose. You DID make the right choice, remember that."

"You know I'll never get over this. This guilt will stay, no matter what either of us want."

"Yes, and no. It won't go in a night, I understand that. But whilst I still life, I will make sure to return you to your own self, no matter how long it takes."

"To an even better version of my old self."

"We both will."

"........you think they'll ever forgive me. Not all of them knew.........."

"Yeah. Though they are now gone, they will know things we have till death to wait and learn. They'll DEFINITELY know it wasn't you who murdered them, that's for certain. Right now, they will want you to recover, wishing you the best."

"Thanks, that helps a bit."

"You would do the same for me."

"Yeah, I would."

 

(Initially, I wrote this story on the same day I wrote(who are these stranger). Because my planning for today was kinda poor, i only managed to complete a draft on the story I originally intended to upload. That story will be uploaded next )
