"New school, new me," I said.
"Come on, let's go, Charlotte, my little twin sister," Charlie, my twin brother said to me.
"I'm not little, I'm just.. 4 minutes.. away from you.."
"Ugh, your so slow, let's go."
The bell rung. Students came out of the school like flying monkeys.
Shit, I lost Charlie.. Fuck..
"Ow!" I squealed. I fell to the ground.
"Oh! I'm so sorry," the guy said.
He offered me his hand and I took it. I got up.
"Thank you..." I said.
"I'm Nate, and you are..?" he said.
"I'm Charlotte.." I replied.
"New here?" he asked.
"Yup, I lost my brother..." I told him.
"Do you have your schedule on you?"
"Yeah, I do acutally.." I took out my schedule from my bag and handed it to him.
"Oh, we're in the same class, this hour, 2nd, and also, 4th," he said with a cute smile.
"Yeah.. I missed 1st period.."
Somebody came over to Nate and I, it wasn't Charlie.. It was some other dude.
"Hey, Nate! What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be in class?" he said.
"Aiden, this is Charlotte. Charlotte, this is Aiden, my best friend slash brother. I was adopted by his parents," Nate said.
"Hi.." I said.
"Let's get to class, dude!" Aiden said.
Wow, he was being rude..
"She's in our class, too."
"Well, let's go!"
"Dang, I've never seen you this eager to go to class, Aiden."
We went to class.
I stayed near Nate. I didn't know anybody here.. except.. my best friend slash cousin.
"Lola?!" I screamed.
"Oh my gosh, Char!" she screamed.
I went over to her and we both hugged then pulled apart.
"I didn't know you were coming here," she said.
"Well, here I am, the new girl," I told her.
"Is your brother here also?" she asked.
"Yeah, I don't know where he is.."
"Oh, he's probably in his class.
"Who's this?" a girl asked.
Lola said, "This is my cousin, and my best friend, Charlotte. Charlotte, this is Raina."
"Hi," Raina said.
"Hi.." I said.
Aiden's POV:
"Stop staring at her," I said to Nate.
"What?" he asked.
"You can't possibly like her already, Nate."
He shrugged and said, "I don't know, Aiden.. but I do."
"You only met her today!"
"Hey, you have sex with girls you just met too!"
"Because that's me, Nate," I said.
"Well, I like her.." he said to me.
"No, remember the last girl you dated?" I asked.
"Yeah.."
"She used you! She used your brains! They always do that to you because you're super smart! She's gonna use you too!" I told him.
"She's not going to, Aiden."
"We'll see.."
I can't have another girl use Nate again. He'll get hurt. It has happened 3 times already. He's had enough. I'm gonna have to.. make Charlotte fall in love with me.
