"You asked her on a date and you didn't tell me?" Nate asks.

"Yeah, but whatever. I didn't even show up," I told him.

        "Why?"

        "Because I wanted to."

"Aiden, you know that I like her."

        "I know you do, Nate."

"Then why'd you ask her?" he asks.

"Because, Nate.. I like her too," I replied.

        Charlotte's POV:

"Now that I think of it.. you two are a cute together!" Lola says.

"No, Lola. He almost raped me," I said with a disgusted face.

"Earlier, I was just pissed that he stood you up. But now.. he sounds so sexy and if you two started going out, oh my gosh, I would get distracted and fail on my exams-"

        "Lola!" I yell out.

        "What?" she asks.

"Help me with this. You know I suck at Math. Well, I suck at everything..."

"You can read!" she said smiling.

"Lola, I have dyslexia!" I told her.

        "Oh yeah.. forgot. Sorry, Char."

"It's okay. There's nothing that I'm good at. I don't even get why I passed middle school or even elementary school. I'm so stupid! How am I even a junior? One more year, then I'll be a senior. How is that even possible? I'm stupid! So stupid!" I said then started hitting my head.

Lola held my arms and said, "Look, Char. You're not stupid. You're a very talented and smart girl." She smiled at me.

        "It's because I had a brain tumor."

"It's okay. You're just stressed out. We should take a break. But you're getting this, Charlotte."

"I'm still not good at anything, Lola.." I told her.

"You have a very good heart, and people love you for it."

        Aiden's POV:

"Oh.. you like her.." Nate said.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, bro. But I can't control what I feel. I really do like her.. and I'm sorry I didn't tell you that I asked her on a date," I said.

"It's fine. You should ask her out. You two would be a great couple."

"Are you sure, Nate? I don't want to date her knowing that you like her."

"No, it's okay. I don't like her anymore. You ask her out."

"What if she says no?" I ask.

"Then.. I don't know. Everybody likes you."

"Yeah, but she's a challenge.. I like it."

He said, "Don't play with her emotions. Don't play with her heart. She would be torn into pieces."

"I won't," I said then turned around and smirked.
