Jughead POV
i get woken up to Hot Dog licking my face. I groan and roll over.
"Jug, Its time to get up" My dad says.
"No" I groan and cover my head with my pillow.
"Yes Jug, Archie is coming over later remember" he says.
"I don't care my bed is warm" I say. I hear him walk over to me and he pulls on my arms.
"Dad i'm tired" I whine.
"And i'm tired of my almost 25 year old son acting like a five year old" My dad says.
"Touche" I say and he laughs.
"Here is your shirt and pants and you're beanie" He says. I pull my shirt over my head.
"So you aren't taking a shower?" My dad asks.
"I took one last night Toni helped me" I say.
"Okay I leave you to get dressed" my dad says and I hear him leave the room.
I pull my jeans on and make sure they're on the right way. I put my beanie on my head.
"Come here Hot Dog" I say and he comes. I grab on to his leash and we walk down stairs.
"Hey Jughead you ready" I hear Archie say.
"I didn't eat breakfast yet" I say.
"I'll take you to Pops" he says.
"Are you paying" I ask.
"Yes Jug I'll pay" he says chuckling.
"Okay I'll put my shoes on." I say and walk to the couch.

"Hey Pop" I say walking into pops.
"Hey Jug, hi Archie" He says.
"Hi Pop we'll just have our usuals" Archie says.
"Plus another chocolate milkshake" I smile.
"Seriously" Archie says as we walk to a booth.
"Yeah I'm not paying. This is an rare occasion" I say.
"If you order anything else you owe me" he says.
"But you came over too early" I say.
"Because you're usual ready early" he. Says.
"But I wasn't my bed was warm this morning" I say.
"Okay what ever" he says chuckling.
"So not to be rude but why am I here" I say and feel for hotdog.
"Uhh as you know I proposed to Veronica-"
"You mean I told Veronica that you were gonna propose so you wouldn't chicken out again." I say and he laughs.
"Yes but she wants to have an engagement party and-"
"No archie I don't do parties. I never did and even now that I'm blind. No I'm not going" I say.
"Come on please dude your my best man. You literally have to come" he says.
"No" I say and lay my head on the table.
"How about if you come I'll let you have free pops" he says.
"For how long?" I ask.
"A week" he says.
"Make it two and we have a deal" I say.
"Fine two weeks" he says.
"When is it" I ask.
"On Friday" he says.
"Okay" I say
"Here's your food" I hear pop say.
"Thanks" I say
"Thank you Pop" Archie says.
"So what are you doing for your birthday tomorrow" Archie says.
"I have doctors appointments" I say and take a bite of my burger.
"What about?" Archie asks.
"Just the usual. To see how my eyes are and tell me there's a surgery that has a 15% chance of working" I say.
"Why don't you just get the surgery?" Archie asks.
"Because I would rather be blind. Than to get my hopes up for a surgery and waste money for it to not work Arch" I say and put a fry toward hotdog.
"Well there's a chance-"
"Let's not argue about this Archie" I say.
