Jughead POV
We are at the dinner betty hasn't shown up yet.
"Is she here yet" I ask Toni.
"No not yet" She says.
"What if she doesn't show because of me" I say.
"She's gonna show"
"Okay so we are going to start dinner now even though Betty isn't here yet. She called and told me she's running into some traffic" Veronica says.
"Come on Jug lets go eat." Toni says.

"This is all you want Jug?" Toni asks.
"Yeah I can't eat when I'm nervous" I say.
"Sorry I'm late" I hear Betty say.
"It's okay B at least you weren't sleeping. We saved you a seat by Jughead" Veronica says.
"Oh okay thanks" Betty says.

Veronica is going on about something to do with the wedding. I wasn't listening I'm just think about what I'm going to say to Betty.
"Are you mad at me?" I ask her. But I don't get a response.
"Bett-"
"I'm pissed that you still think after everything I told you and you told me I'm gonna leave. Jug I love you and I'm not going anywhere okay. You just seem to not get it and that pisses me off" Betty says the last part a little loud.
"Betty you guys okay?" Veronica asks.
"I'm sorry" Betty says and I hear he leave.
"Betty" I call out.
"Come on Jug" Toni says and helps me up. We walk out of the room.
"She's out there talk to her okay apologize" Toni says.
"Okay" I say. Toni walks me outside and I sit down on the stairs by Betty. I hear her sniff.
"I'm sorry Betty. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just when you told me you loved me the first time. You thought I was asleep"
"You were awake?" She says brokenly.
"Yeah I just panicked and I...sometimes when nice or good things happen to me I short circuit and push people away. Because I think I don't deserve happiness I guess. It's just my depression and anxiety. But Betty I think I love you" I say.
"You think?" She says.
"No I do...I do love you Betty. I love you Betty Cooper" I say.
"I love you too Jughead Jones" Betty says then sobs.
"Come here" I say and open my arms. She hugs me and cries into my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry baby" I say and kiss her hair.

After Veronica's dinner thing Betty drove me home cause Toni wanted to go to Cheryl's. I asked her to stay over. She said yes.
"Hmm I missed you" I say.
"I missed you too" she says.
"Well now that we love each other I guess I should tell you my name" I say.
"Okay"
"But you can't tell anyone ever" I say.
"I won't I promise"
"Pinky promise?" I say and hold up my pinky.
"Pinky promise" She giggles.
"Okay no laughing my name is Forsythe Pendleton Jones the third" I say.
"The third" she says.
"Yes the third and I said no laughing." I say.
"I'm not laughing" she says.
"I heard you thinking about it" I say.
"You heard my thoughts" Betty laughs.
"Yep once I lost my vision my other senses increased" I say.
"Okay so what am I thinking now" she says.
"You are thinking that you love me" I smile.
"Hmm that's true" Betty says.
"Okay can you give me a kiss please" I smile.
"Okay then can we go to sleep. Today was an emotional day" Betty says.
"I'm sorry" I say.
"Stop apologizing it wasn't all you"she says.
"What else happened" I ask.
"I'll tell you tomorrow okay" she says.
"Okay but I'm still waiting for my kiss" I say. And Betty kisses me.
"Good night" Betty says.
"Night I love you" I say.
"I love you too Forsythe" Betty says.
"Uh meanie" I say and Betty laughs.
