"I wouldn't mislead you, I promise."

She tapped her pen against her lips repeatedly, eyes focused on her book. Something about her drew me in, deeper than I've ever felt. Well, I felt like a creep but it had to be her, maybe a descendant of Persephone. No one else held a glow like that in their skin. She was beautiful if I was honest with myself, but I love Persephone (even if I had no idea where she was), right? Beside she was my student now, which admittedly I was excited about.

Y/N's bouncy curl fell in her face, a small smile graced her lovely brown lips adorned only with a gloss. She blew the curl away successfully before finishing up a sentence on her assignment. I felt my inner heat fan itself, a red flag that I ignored. She looked at her watch and began hurriedly packing up.

I shook my head and walked back to the classroom. Sitting at the desk, I open my lecture for today on the projector. It was going to be an interesting class slot.

___________***Y/N POV***____________

I slid into the classroom and smiled brightly at my handsome, ebony-haired professor. "Hello, Mr. Aidoneus." I said shyly as I realized I was the first in class. "Call me Hades, Y/N, everyone else does." He replies, his voice reminded me of thick grits with cheese in it on winter mornings. Something filling and heavy, in a warm way, embraces you when you listen to him. "I couldn't do that Mr. Aidoneus," I explain before distracting myself with opening my books.

Other students start streaming into the classroom, taking his attention off of me. I take the moment to rub some lotion on my hands. The dry air in the building doesn't do anything for my skin. It's so easy to be ashy on this campus for no damn reason. He clears his throat and I look up. "Welcome to Greek Myth in Theatre. Today, We will speaking on the feminine strength of Persephone after addressing the syllabus." I rolled my eyes, Persephone seems to be everyone's fucking favorite. He rattled off the syllabus information, then the well known story of Persphones and it's meanings I took note casually. "She continued her actions against her husband motivated by the thought of the love of her mother. " I snorted, though on accident. "Miss Y/N, do you not agree? Young women tend to relate to Persephone." I looked up to see Mr. Aidoneus' piercing blue eyes staring back at me. "Oh um, don't mind me." He smiles softly as if to encourage me, "No, I'd love to hear what a woman has to say on this." I look around and most of the class is preoccupied with other things.

"Well, she sounds tiresome for the sake of being different. Like one of the 'im not like other girls, I'm quirky' people. Yes, she was tricked into a marriage. One that contained love even if one sided. But had she really cared to not be there she was a child of Zeus and Demeter. Why did she not defy the odds and escape? Sure there's the 6 month thing but let's truly put it into modernization." Professor Aidoneus nods and at this point I've gathered some of the girls' attention. "She didn't bother to take any control of the situation." He raised a finger to stop me, " To that point, women were viewed different with what they were able to do." "She's a goddess, Athena was not feeble allowing herself to be taken. Aphrodite was known to be smart lipped. Hera was the pettiest bitch in mythology. Persephone was at best manipulative and emotional. While she is protrayed as a beautiful softhearted Queen, I do not think she should stand as a modern feminist image. She didn't even attempt to fight. "

The professor smiled widely and a few of the girls clapped in agreement. "That was very well put, I see what you mean. So what do you think was her motivation to stay in that position?" He tossed back at me. I roll my eyes, " Sis was comfortable, everyone was taking care of her and she still got to take care of her plants. She secured the bag." He bursted out laughing, amused. I shivered at his deep vibrating laughter. "Right, that's a good take. Either way, she's a popular pretty character, is she not? Looks like we've reached the end of our first lecture. Remember to grab a syllabus is you didn't when you walked in. It has everything we talked about in the beginning. "

-------------------6 weeks later------------------

It knocked on the office door. I'd avoided being alone with the heartstopping professor but doing this project alone was difficult. "Come in!" I stepped in nervously, "Hello Professor. " He stood with a surprised look. " Y/N! What a surprise. You never need much help! What can I do for you, Dear?" I closed my eyes settling my heart and stomach. " As you know Jonah dropped the class. Meaning I don't have him to reinterpret our Greek scene. It's difficult to find and translate a soliloquy in to modern ideals." He nodded, listening to my issue. Hades ran his hand through his hair tying it up, thinking over my words.

"What were you guys planning to analyze and perform?" I looked down shyly and rubbed at my thighs. "W-well, we uh planned on Hades kidnapping Persphones and the pomegranate scene. " He nodded thoughtfully a small smile forming, " I can fill in for Jonah but you'll have to do majority of the rewriting." My eyes nearly popped out of my damn head. Surely he knew there was a kissing scene in that. " Oh you're probably too busy. " He shook his head, " Thursdays and Fridays work for me. And I have plenty of space at my place. "

I couldn't speak, I really had no other ideas on how to do this big project. "Sure, I'll meet up with you Thursday evening and I can show you what I have. " He smiled bright and I noticed how full and pink his lips were. Moistened by a lick from his tongue, I grew weak. "That works perfectly, is Sushi okay?" I nodded and turned towards the door.

Suddenly his hand was on mine stopping me from leaving, "Y/N, only if you want to. I'll find a way to help regardless. " I shook my head without turning to him, " This is perfect, it's just fine. See you Thursday, Hades. " I was playing with fire now, and I wanted to burn. As I closed the door I could hear him mumble, "My Fires, she is a muse."

A/N: I know I just banged out four stories. But I've neglected you guys, my life's been a whirlwind of craziness. I'm struggling but also I've never been more .... Okay with my situation.
