Jack knocked the door to his father's room. He wasn't sure if his father had forgiven him yet. His mom had hugged him and cried about how much she had missed him but his father, he hadn't left his room since the party.

"Come in", Jack entered inside and saw his father sitting on the edge of the bed like he was expecting Jack.

Jack moved towards his dad, sat on his knees in front of him, held his hands, "Dad...."

His dad didn't respond.

"I'm sorry, dad", Jack waited for a response again but still nothing.

Tears started flowing out from his eyes which he had been holding till then, "Please forgive me, dad. Please, I...."

He was interrupted by the sudden hug his father gave him. He hugged his father back.

"I'm sorry", he repeated.

His father broke the hug and made him sit besides himself.

"I'm sorry", Jack kept repeating while sniffing.

"I forgive you, son", his dad said and Jack hugged him again. His father patted his back.

Jack then broke the hug and there was a comfortable silence between them for a minute or two, both containing themselves.

"I'm sorry", David Cameron said.

"For what?", Jack asked. He was shocked by that.

"For putting all that rubbish in you head.....about...that...about you know, the possibility of Sierra being your second chance", David said.

"No, dad. It's fine. It was just a theory....a maybe thing. You said that yourself", Jack protested.

"I always saw her as your mate. I....I just don't know what to...I just...", David gave up trying to form his feeling into words.

"Tell me that's not the reason you wanted her to be the Luna?", Jack doubted.

"No! No, Sierra has always been my daughter. I didn't make her the Luna because of this", David said.

"Then what's the problem?", Jack asked.

David didn't answered.

"Won't you be happy for her if she finds her mate who is the right match for her?", Jack asked.

"That's the problem. I don't know who her mate would be. He would keep her happy enough or not? I just hope she finds someone excellent and not a pinch less than that. Someone who would keep her like the princess she is. After all,......she's just my baby girl", Alpha Cameron finally lifted it off his chest.

Jack smiled, "Your baby girl has grown up, dad. She can handle herself just fine. And if her mate is any less than excellent towards her, then we both will beat the crap out of him till he is Marvellous! Ok?"

"Done", David laughed.

Sierra was in her office doing the paper work which she usually found boring. A knock on the door interrupted her from her work, "Come in."

"You're late, Alonzo-"

"Sierra..."

Sierra looked up to find Varez at the door, "Yes, Alpha?"

"I told you Sierra, that it is Varez for you", Varez said.

"Was. Not is, Alpha", Sierra replied.

"Sierra-"

"Alpha Varez, I'm on duty right now and you are standing in my office. It's only fair if we act professional, isn't that our responsibility and the pack's right?", Sierra asked.

Varez didn't answered.

"I believe, it is", Sierra said. "So, what is you purpose of visiting me, Alpha?"

"I'm sorry, Sierra", Varez apologized. This time, it was a sincere one. He really was sorry for his behaviour towards Sierra. She didn't deserve it. She didn't deserve any of it.

He looked at her hand which had burnt because of the silver when he had locked her in the silver safe, "I'm sorry for everything. Forgive me, please".But he was too selfish to let go too.

"With all due respect, Alpha Varez. I have work. So, mind giving me some privacy?", Sierra asked.

"Fine. But I'm not giving up on you. Not now. Not ever", Varez said and slammed the door on his way out.
