Chapter 10: Big Brother Knows Best
It's been a while since Joe's been on live with his fans, and he shows the fans his morning routine.
Joe: hey guys, sorry it's been a while, I just want to post an update on my family. This is my best friend Nick, he's been helping us out and he's been here since my parents died. He's a good friend
Nick: thanks Joe, hello Joe's girls
Joe: Normally in the morning, Nick and I help the girls get ready for school while we have to get to school by ourselves. One fan asked, "Why did you take a break from music?". I took a break from music because I had to be there for the girls. I'm their big brother and it's my job to look after them. Honestly, the band understands and are being very supportive of it and they're are all doing their own things now. If I didn't step in like I did, the girls would be separated since they're all still minors and I didn't want to lose them
Nick: and he's the best big brother too, never been more proud of him. He used to be on the road a lot and just say hi to the girls and give them gifts, now he's here for him all the time, to help them out with their issues
Twins: JOE!
Joe: What is it, girls?
Mads: we forgot to ask you to sign our permission slip for our field trip
Joe: Nick, can you hold this for me? (Grabs the papers)
Nick grabbed the phone from Joe.
Nick: (puts the phone in their face) hi girls
Twins: um... hi
Mads: what are you doing?
Nick: Oh, I was on Instagram live, Joe's showing the fans what he does in the morning
Riley: Joe has fans?
Nick: Did you forget your brother used to be a Rockstar?
Riley: oh yeah... that's why he's never been home
Mads: and you thought it was because he didn't love us-ow! * she said when Riley smack her*
Nick/Joe: (looks up) what?
Twins: n-nothing
Both twins said knowing that one of the rules was to not hit each other.
Mads: *change subject* so... Joe, how many followers do you have?
Joe: 13million
Mads: meh
Joe: Meh, what?
Mads: I mean they're not as big as One Direction followers and they're no longer a band anymore
Joe: Why? How many followers do they have?
Mads: 21.1M
Riley: face it Joe, a band that no longer together has a bigger fan base than you
Joe: I mean, how can you not love those 5 boys, especially Harry Styles?
Riley: hey... he's mine
Mads: No! He's mine
Riley: I thought you liked Niall
Mads: oh yeah, you can have Harry, I have Niall.
Riley: deal
Joe: Who do I get?
Twins: (looks at Joe more than at each other.) Liam
Joe: Why do I get Liam?
Riley: Because you're both womanizers
Joe: I am not! I haven't seen a girl since I moved back home
Mads: so you're saying you used to be?
Joe: what no! (to the fans) they don't know what they're talking about.
Riley: what about Taylor Swift, aren't you the one that broke up with her over a text because you couldn't handle long distances?
Joe: (gives her a look playfully) you're grounded
Riley: *smirks* What! That's what Taylor said and she even wrote a song about it! Why am I being punished because I'm right?
Joe: no, because you're putting my business on live *kiss her forehead* (change subject) is your sister up
Mads: I haven't seen her this morning
Joe: What? Is she still in bed? I have to leave for work soon and she should be out the door already. Kristy, get up! (Heads to her room.)
Nick: and there goes the live freaking out.
Kristy and Joe started arguing from Kristy's bedroom, Joe said.
Joe: Kristy, what the hell are you still doing in bed!
Kristy: LEAVE ME ALONE! NICKKKKKKK!!!
Nick: well, I'm gonna end the live here (ends it)
They jumped when they heard a loud smack after Nick ended it and Joe and Kristy yelled at each other and soon Joe dragged Kristy into the kitchen area with her toothbrush in her mouth and her in the uniform not straight and Kristy rubbed her bottom.
Joe: she's awake
Kristy: (glares at him, takes the toothbrush out) why do you have to be so aggressive to wake me up
Joe: I wouldn't be aggressive if you didn't wake up on time
Kristy: my alarm didn't go off
Joe: that's because you smashed your alarm clock.
Kristy: I was wondering why my hand hurts. But did you have to spank me!
Joe: you were being rude
Nick: come on Kristy, grab something to eat before you go to school.
Kirsty: let me finish brushing my teeth at least
Joe: sorry
