Chapter 9:

The family was at the video store, looking for movies for Kristy's slumber party.

Kristy: pleaseee Joeeee
Joe: no
Kristy: it's just one scary movie, what's the big deal
Joe: and I said no, you get so scared easily
Kristy: I do not
Twins: *jumps in front of Kristy* BOO!
Kristy: AHH!! *bumps into Joe's arm and looks up at him* see... I can handle it
Riley: we so got her *high fives Mads*
Kristy: *glares at them and turns back around* come on Joe, my friends are expecting a scary movie
Joe: then you shouldn't have made promises you can't keep
Kristy: I promise I won't get scared
Joe: you promise you won't come into my room after feeling scared?
Kristy: I promise
Joe: fine... 1 scary movie
Kristy: yay! Thanks Joe, you're the best *hugs him*
Nick: hey Joe, I found a movie we can watch with the twins tonight
Twins: *looks* a Disney princess movie
Nick: what? The little mermaid is a classic!
Riley: Nick... we are too old for that
Nick: you two are 10
Riley: why can't we watch the movie with Kristy
Joe: you know why
Mads: but we love scary movies
Joe: girls the movies Kristy is watching are too young for your age. NO!
Twins: pleaseeeeeee *gives him face*
Kristy: don't give in Joe, I can't have them at my party
Nick: stay strong man, we talked about this
Joe: no, and I'm standing my ground this time
Mads: fine... will go with the stupid princess movie
Joe: You two wouldn't be watching a movie right now, since you two are still grounded from cheating. Yeah I didn't forget. We only made tonight an exception since we don't want you girls bothering Kristy and her friends.
Kristy: thanks Joey, come on we got to go buy some snacks for the slumber party.

The family paid for their movie and off to the candy store, which was owned by Nick's sister Sophie.

Sophie: hey guys
Nick: hey big sister *hugs her*
Sophie: Nicholas what are you doing here? You know you can't have all these sweets
Nick: *roll eyes* I'm not here for me, it's for the girls, and I'm allowed to have sugar free *takes a sugar free candy and pops one in his mouth*
Mads: Joey can Riley and I please have candy...
Joe: no
Mads/Riley: pleaseee...
Joe: girls we are not here for you, we are here for Kristy
Kristy: *grabbing snacks* thanks Joe
Riley: Why does Kristy get whatever she wants!
Joe: cause she isn't the one on punishment
Sophie: the girls are still on punishment for cheating
Joe/Nick: yes
Mads: *whines* but it's been a week
Riley: *whines as well* we learned our lesson
Riley/Mads: pllleassseeeeee
Joe: that's why we are giving you girls a break this weekend
Mads: then we deserve candy
Sophie: come on boys, it's candy, beside I need help paying my rent
Nick/Joe: fine...
Twins: yay! Thanks Sophie *hugs her and grabs some candy and put some in a bag*
Sophie: no problem girls, I'm always here to help
Joe: yeah... thanks a lot Sophie *helps the girls*
Sophie: I did it again didn't I
Nick: yup
Sophie: how can I get Joe, to understand that I support him?
Nick: why not come over tonight and help us with the girls slumber party
Sophie: And Joe will be okay with that?
Nick: as long as you don't undermine his parenting.
Sophie: yeah sorry I gotta get better at that

Nick tries to take another bite of candy and Sophie smack his hand.

Nick: ow!
Sophie: you eat it, you buy it
Nick: but I'm your brother, don't I get discount
Sophie: not a free discount. Plus I don't want it to be my fault when you end up in diabetic coma again
Nick: *roll eyes* always looking after me
Sophie: it's what big sister do

Back at the Jonas House.
It was night time and Kristy and her friends were in the jammies and were jamming to What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. The girls were laughing and having a good time as they danced to their favorite boy band.

Kristy: hey, you guys, that was great!
Stacey: yeah, we're hot.
Mary-Anne: this is great pizza.
Claudia: I don't know. I think it's missing something.
Mary-Anne: what?
Claudia: SLIME! *spray the girls with the spray*
