Zenitsu's POV
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING-
Nezuko-Chan agreed to go on a date with me.
Of course with Tanjiro's approval. Took me months to convince him though... but it's all worth it! I made a promise to him to make sure she would be safe, or else he would headbutt me. Thinking about him headbutting me is already making me break into cold sweat.
It was cold, since Christmas is just around the corner. My breath was visible in the icy cold air, and I shoved both my hands into my pockets to keep them warm.
"Zenitsu!"
I turned around and saw Nezuko-Chan happily waving towards me. SHE LOOKED SO CUTE IN HER OUTFIT THAT I CAN DIE! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING-
... until I noticed Tanjiro and Inosuke were with her as well.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE?" I screamed.
Tanjiro scratched his head. "Um, is something wrong with that-"
"YEAH! You let me go on a date with her! What are you two doing here??"
"I did let you go on a date with her but I never said I'm letting you go alone with her," Tanjiro said then gave me a cheeky smile.

"THEN WHAT'S WITH ALL THE 'HEADBUTTING' THREATS??" I shrieked.
"Well I had to make sure you'll keep her safe either way," he shrugged back.
I groaned then glared at Inosuke, who immediately backed away.
"I WAS JUST FOLLOWING GONPACHIRO," he declared defensively.
"Zenitsu it's okay! Let's go check out the movies now," Nezuko-Chan smiled at me sweetly. The smile melted my heart and I could feel myself blushing. She grabbed my arm and gently pulled me along with her towards the cinema.
"LET'S WATCH THAT NEW ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE MOVIE," Inosuke hollered.
"No! That's too scary for Nezuko," Tanjiro protested. "What about the new anime movie we saw outside? The poster looked interesting!"
I glanced at Nezuko-Chan then smiled at her. "Let's let Nezuko-Chan choose instead."

Nobody's POV
~Two hours later~
"That was so good!!" Nezuko gasped, eyes sparkling.
"Out of all the movies... you chose Frozen," Inosuke mumbled. "WHY-"
Tanjiro nudged him to make him shut up. "It's pretty good!"
"Which part is your favorite??" Nezuko asked in excitement.
Tanjiro- who fell asleep throughout the entire thing- nervously scratched the back of his head. "... The part where she sings...?" (he woke up at the parts when they sang songs)
Before Nezuko could reply, she glanced at Zenitsu to see him wiping tears away.
"IT W-W-WAS SO E-EMOTIONAL," he cried. "IT WAS ALSO SO GOOD!"
"INTO THE UNKNOWNN," Nezuko started.
"INTO THE UNKNOWNNNN," Zenitsu continued.
"INTO THE UNKNOWNNNNNNNN," Tanjiro and Inosuke finished, only to have Zenitsu kick them.
"SHUT UP YOU'RE BOTH TONE DEAF."
Soon, he and Nezuko started rambling about the movie, completely forgetting about Tanjiro and Inosuke's existence. Tanjiro and Inosuke stared at each other then sighed.
"You know what? Let's leave them alone," Tanjiro told Inosuke. "Let's go grab some food instead and let them be. I really do trust Zenitsu. His scent was always honest and loyal."
"Pfft, IF YOU'RE PAYING THEN I'M FINE WITH IT," Inosuke smirked. Tanjiro gave him a smile then they both walked off together.
"Hm? Where'd Onii-Chan go?" Nezuko asked after a few minutes when they calmed down.
'YES! THE LORD HAS ANSWERED MY PRAYERS! I'M FINALLY ALONE WITH NEZUKO-CHAN!!' Zenitsu thought, mentally crying in tears of joy.
"Why don't we go grab a drink?" Nezuko suggested.
They walked towards a cafe then looked over the menu. She ordered a cup of hot chocolate while he ordered a cup of coffee. They decided to walk around at the nearby park since there was nothing else to do.
Feeling light dusting of snow, Nezuko reached her hand out to see tiny sparks of snow slowly landing on her palm.
"Are you cold?" Zenitsu questioned her.
"I'm fine! The drink is keeping me warm," she smiled back.
They walked a little more before Zenitsu stopped. Nezuko turned around with a questionable look on her face. "What's wrong?" she asked.
"I-I like you!" he blurted out. There was a pause between them before he realized what he had said. Flustered, he quickly continued, "I-I-I'll treat you well! A-And I'll treasure you!"
He blushed then awkwardly scratched his neck. "And I promise I'll protect you, Nezuko-Chan."
Nezuko couldn't help but smile. "Zenitsu... you're a great person," she said then grinned at him. "Probably can be a great boyfriend too."
He could feel his heart beating quicker and quicker by each second that had passed. He covered his flustered and blushing face from her and mentally started celebrating and screaming.
That's how their relationship all started.
