Chapter One: Pandemonium

Isabelle's POV
I'd just finished with my makeup, I threw on my white leather two piece and glamoured myself so my runes became invisible. God, I look so damn hot. I grabbed my wig and stepped out in the hallway. I saw Alec coming towards me from the opposite direction.

"Seriously, Izzy? Is that really necessary?" said Alec, pointing towards my wig.

"What can I say, big brother? Demons dig blondes!" I say giggling to him and he scoffs at me.

"Of course they do, but that's white" he corrected me. He has a habit of doing that. Man, why does my brother have to do that all the time?

Alec's POV
I followed Izzy to the ops centre, Jace was tapping on the screen and turned around to see us when we came in.

"Good choice, Izzy. Demons dig blondes!"
Jace said looking at Izzy. I rolled my eyes at them.

"For the last time, it's platinum guys" I told them. I guess they're color blind, as well as dumb.

"Anyways, our demon friends have been draining mundanes of their blood and killing them for some reason. We need to find out why. This is what our demon looks like for now." Jace said looking at us and then pointing to screen at the man.

"Alright, let me get approval for the misson" I said, but both Izzy and Jace gave me death stares. Idk why they hate me for doing my job the right way.

"Oh come on, Alec! By the time the Clave responds we would have killed six demons" Jace protested.

"And it's more fun to break the rules than to follow them!'' Izzy said giggling.

"Whatever. Let's just go. But this is the last time that this is happening" I tell them, handing them their seraph blades and picking up my bow and arrows, slinging them on my shoulder.

*Time skip to when they're in Pandemonium*

Emily's POV
I saw these three people go in the back. Why did they seem so familiar? I grabbed my younger brother's arm to drag him there with me and he practically hissed at me.

"Heyyy! Leave me alone, sis! I'm here to have some fun for one night" Jacob said.

"You can get wasted later, Jake. Now move your ass, we have work to do" I told my baby brother.

I practically raised him on all my own because Valentine killed our mother when I was 15. Jake was 10 at the time. Oh, and Valentine is our father too. He married my mother way before Jocelyn came and ruined all our lives. She was the one who forced him to kill my mother because she couldn't stand another woman in his life.

"Can you stop being all sisterly for 10 minutes though?" Jake joked around.

I rolled my eyes at him and began following the three people. Seeing the boy just made me feel a magnetic pull towards him. I went to the back to see a girl in white clothing dancing to gain the attention of some demons. Only a shadowhunter would be that daring, should've guessed.
Suddenly the boys came out, and began slaying the demons. They moved swiftly and soundlessly. Their movements were smooth. They were too busy to notice me and Jake, but we instantly recognized them.

I looked around and a redhead mundane girl was standing there watching the whole act. WITH A DAMNED GLOWING SERAPH BLADE IN HER MUNDIE HANDS.
Izzy got cornered by two demons. They didn't notice me as I creeped up from behind, pulling out my pair of karambit knives and plunged them into their hearts from behind their backs. Izzy and I watched as they turned to ash.
I turned around only to see an arrow coming towards me. I catched it only inches away from my face.

"I save your sister and you thank me by nearly putting an arrow through my head. You're a crazy one, you know?" I said walking up to him and handing him his arrow.
He looked at me sternly and then opened his mouth to say something but stopped. I see he still wears the black thread bracelet I made him ages ago. He made me one too, although it was very badly made but he made it for me and I wear it every single day.
Jace dealt with the redhead while Izzy came over to me.

"Im sorry for my brother's lack of manners, I'm Isabelle. This man here is my brother Alec and the blonde one is Jace. Thankyou for saving my life" She said with a big smile on her face.

"Anything for a fellow shadowhunter" I said looking at her with a small smile.

"You didn't tell us who you two are" Jace said. I didn't notice when he popped up.

"We'll tell you when we get back to the Institute. For now, we are shadowhunters in desperate need of a home. So you can't refuse us to come along can you?" I said smirking.

"It's the least we can do to thank you for what you did" Alec said with a slight doubt in his voice.

"Well, lead the way. I'm exhausted" Jake said. He's such a baby still. Izzy smirked at him.

I was following Alec and Izzy when he said something to her that gave me goosebumps.
"She reminds me of her, Izzy. I still miss her so much"
