Janus and Virgil sit on the couch, laughing together, enjoying the silence of the Darkscape.
One tries to fly away, and the other...
Virgil suddenly goes silent before bringing up how he talked to the Light sides recently.
Watches him close from that wire...
He says,
'I want to as well'
But he is a liar.
'I'll believe... it all. There's nothing I won't understand.'
'I'll believe... it all. I won't let go of your hand.'
Two birds on a wire...
Janus watches as Virgil packs his things angrily, with tears running down both of their faces.
One says,
'Come on!'
'Please stay!'
And the other says,
'I'm tired.'
'I'm tired of your lies.'
'The sky's overcast and I'm sorry. One more or one less, nobody's worried.'
'Nobody cares about the Dark Sides, anyways. Why should the Light's care if I leave?"
As Virgil leaves, a new side appears. Remus, Intrusive thoughts. He puts his hand on Janus' shoulder.
'I'll believe... it all. There's nothing I won't understand.'
'I'll believe... it all. I won't let go of your hand.'
...
...
...
Two birds of a feather.
Say that,
'We're always gonna stay together!'
But one's never gonna let go of that wire.
Remus grows to love being a dark side while Janus grows to hate everything about it.
He says,
'I will!'
But he's just a liar.
Two birds on a wire.
Janus finally packs his bags, about to do the one thing that he said he'd never do.
One tries to fly away, and the other...
About to do the same thing to Remus that Virgil did to him.
Watches him close from that wire.
Remus stares, tears running down his face.
He says,
'I want to as well'
But he is a liar.
Two birds...
Janus finally leaves.
On a wire...
Leaves Remus alone in the darkscape.
One tries to fly...
Alone to his thoughts.
Away...
Just to be with the only person who ever made him truly happy again.
And the other...
And breaking the heart of the one who trusted him most.
