A MIST OF EMOTIONS initiated Stella's morning as the young teen was still uncertain of her mother's whereabouts. It had been two days since she'd gone away "on business" and no details were shared ever since.

Luckily, with the amount of events happening under the past 24 hours, it was easier to stay occupied. The conversation between her and the recently arrived couple lead them through the late hours of the night and Stella's excitement didn't allow her much sleep afterwards, it was only because Sarah demonstrated a deep amount of exhaustion that she opted to call it a night.

Once settled in, the pair was eager to call home and tell their friends all was safe and sound. For some reason, it drew Stella into the conversation and who was on the other side of the line, due to John B's enthusiasm.

The endless conversation focused ultimately on the infamous shipwreck that had led them to Nassau but also how they couldn't haven gotten there without the help of their crew back home, focusing particularly on who Stella figured what John's best friend as he kept on going about him for ages. She sat back and listened all so carefully, in between her input and some questions.

This so called JJ  seemed quite the ride or die type of friend she dreamed of having in her teenage years. His passion and persistence were depicted in such a way that it left the young girl to dream out what she had pictured this friend to be, even after having separated ways and gone to her own bedroom.

In the end, they discussed how the gold had been transferred by plane out of the Outer Banks and having connected the dots, it led them to her mother Penelope's nearby airport — which was where they were headed now.

"Stella, you literally grew up in paradise" Sarah admired the natural back-routes the teens were heading through.

"I guess" Stella shrugged "but it can get boring when you're one of the only people under-30 in the island."

"Less people, less problems." John B butt in.

"I'd trade all of this to have grown in a normal household with actual socialization."

They went on with small talk, before reaching an area where the trees were replaced by dirt roads and Stella abruptly stopped, confusing the couple.
