SISTER?

Hi!!!!!!

Today's OneShot is going to be about Raph trying to grasp the fact that Karai is his sister.

Basic and straight to the point. Also short and sweet. It may be a lot shorter than my others but there's not much to do here.

As he walked out of the dojo, he didn't say a word. Mikey had just the unimaginable in there.

"Karai's our sister!?"

How is that even possible!? It shouldn't be! Mikey had so many questions after that, like if she was older or not, but none of that mattered. Raph's whole life, it was him and his brothers. Now this girl could come in and ruin it all? Not to mention, that girl was raised by their arch enemy. Even if they did convince her that Sensei was her father, Raphael would never fully trust her.

"Hey, Raph, I was gonna go for a walk. You wanna come?" Donnie asked. Raph stopped and looked at his brainiac brother.

"You never invite me on those walks." The hothead barked.

"Are ya comin' or not?" Donnie asked again, walking to the turnstiles. Raph rolled his eyes and followed.

The middle children walked through the sewers in silence for a moment.

"So, Karai......our sister?" Donnie said. Raphael continued to stare at the ground ahead of him, his arms wrapped tightly around his chest.

"Raph?" Donnie whispered. Raph looked up at him.

"What?"

"You're awfully quiet. Are you okay?"

"Just thinkin'."

"About what Sensei said?"

"Yea, it's just hard to grasp."

"Ya got that right."

"How long do you think they've known?" Raph growled.

"Who?"

"Leo and Sensei."

"What makes you think they knew?" Donnie asked.

"Come on, Donnie! Use the brain we all know you have. Leo didn't even come across as the tiniest bit shocked! You really think he didn't know!?"

"You think he lied?"

"Wouldn't be the first time."

"Really? When was another time that Leo lied to us?"

"You wouldn't remember, you and Mikey were young." Raph sighed.

"Try me."

"I was five, Leo had told me that Sensei wasn't sick.......when Sensei got really sick......."

"Your birthday week, I remember that. You haven't wanted to celebrate it since."

"That's not why." Raph snapped. Donnie raised his hands to surrender and looked at him confused.

"Then why?"

"I don't like the attention." Raph answered, looking ahead at the void of tunnels in front of them.

"I can see that. But how did Leo lie?"

"I shouldn't say it was a lie, necessarily. He was doing what all big brothers do, he gave us hope. But then Sensei only got worse."

"But he's fine now." Donnie reassured.

"I know. But that week always pops up in my mind. That he could get that sick again. That we could lose him."
