HOW'S IT GOING?

I figured I'd try out this whole sequel thing. This is kind of an A/U, what if Karai wasn't mutated and she did move in with the brothers. For some reason, I always saw Raph and Karai being the closest if they did get along.

She entered the Lair, heart pounding. Karai had been living in the Lair for a month, but she still wasn't completely acquainted with everyone. Sure, she knew them. She knew Mikey loved pizza and video games. She knew Donnie spent most of his time in his lab and Leo spent a lot of his time with either her or Raph. But she didn't know them like a sister should. Their fears, their hopes. But she bickered with them like their sister. Like this morning, Mikey ate her last yogurt and the two went back and forth for at least ten minutes.

Earlier that morning....

It had been a rough night and all she wanted was the perfect breakfast, yogurt and toast. But when she opened the fridge to grab her yogurt, it was gone. She slammed the fridge door shut and whipped around to face the empty kitchen.

"Who ate my yogurt!?" She snapped. Mikey walked into the kitchen and threw a spoon into the sink.

"I didn't happen to be a strawberry Yoplait would it?"

"That's exactly what it was!"

"Oh, my bad. I just ate that."

"Why!?"

"Karai, I know you grew up as an only child, but if you wanna reserve something in this house, you gotta put your name on it and some threat like 'Do not eat or Raph will beat you up' or 'Touch it and Donnie will slip some chemical in your food' ya know?"

"Good to know." Karai sassed. Mikey patted her shoulder and walked into the dojo.

After training, Karai had gone out for her morning walk of the sewers. The smell was putrid but this is where she was living now, she had to get used to it.

"Hey, Karai! I was thinking of doing a light sparring match, you wanna join?" Leo offered.

"Yea, that sounds nice." Karai smiled. The siblings walked into the dojo and began their practice. Raph, who walked out of his room, saw the two enter the dojo and growled.

"Why so down?" Mikey asked.

"I told Leo I'd be out in a minute, then he invites her?"

"Oh, come on. You know how happy he is."

"Yea, what are you doing?" Raph asked.

"I was trying a new recipe that April gave me. You wanna be my taste tester?"

"Am I gonna die?" Raph asked.

"Nah, I know CPR, come on." Mikey waved. Raphael rolled his eyes and followed his brother into the kitchen.

Later, Leo and Karai walked out of the dojo and into the kitchen for waters.

"Awesome job, Karai." Leo praised.

"Thanks, same to you." She smiled. When they walked into the kitchen Mikey and Raph were standing by the stove.

"Mikey, that's cinnamon, I'm not eating that!"

"Dude, it's what the recipe calls for!"

"Not for me to eat alone! Put it in the cake!" Raph snapped.
