Hi my name is April Jackson, daughter of Poseidon, and siblings with the most annoying person ever, Percy Jackson. Yes, the Persassy Jackson.

But, that was the problem. People always expected me to be as good as Percy, if not better. But, I couldn't. I didn't want to be compared to my brother any more.

My life was full of "Oh my gods!!! Your Percy Jacksons sister!! Can you get me his autograph??" It got annoying after a while. Of course I had my own friends but sometimes I think that they are just my friends to get to my brother.

Any ways I was walking to the beach to clear my mind after a long day of getting ignored. I lated down and closed my eyes. It was peaceful out here with the sounds of the waves and the wind blowing slowly.

Suddenly I felt something hit my leg, hard. I shot up to see a guy that looked much like an Latino elf with curly brown hair.
He was on his face and I'm gonna guess that he tripped over my feet. I got up and offered him my hand.

Leo's POV😭😱
I was walking down the beach thinking. I can't believe I'm really a demigod. It's crazy I just got here and now they're making me leave on a quest. Well not immediately.

Suddenly I find myself sprawled out on the ground. "Thank god no one saw me," I muttered under my breath. "Gods" I heard someone say. I looked next to me to see a pretty girl with long brown hair and green eyes.

She got up and I finally noticed that I tripped over her feet. She gave me a hand to help me stand up and I noticed how soft her skin was. Okay, now I'm just sounding like a creep. Oh well.

Aprils POV
I asked the Latino what his name was but, he wasn't paying attention. So I made some water splash on his face.

He looked at me and said "How did you do that??" I laughed and told him I was a daughter of Poseidon. He looked at me in awe. Then he said that he was a son of Hephaestus. I turned around about to leave when he stopped me. "Hey aren't you going to tell me your name? I'm Leo" You looked at him and smirked. "Maybe" you replied and walked away. You looked back at him to see his hair in flames.
