"Y/n know you don't have to keep me company while working right? It's getting late" Lucinda chuckled.

"You know I just want your money Lucy" You winked at her. Both laughing, you went back to gently placing potions on the store shelves.

It was a fairly usual day of work, the only exception being Aaron who now worked part time. It was nice seeing your brother more, even though you practically lived on the same street.

Fresh outta highschool, now at the age 23 you were beginning to collect the shards of a normal adult life. Working part time to afford going to university part time. Time really flies by but sometimes it's painfully slow. Like how fast the rest of highschool flew by, how long it took to rebuild the relationships.

Rekindling with your brother you followed his lead, leaving home as soon as you turned 18. After confiding in Melissa before you ran away, she quietly supported you. You kept trying at connecting them both, wanting you all to have a closer bond.

With the rest of the people you felt you had wronged, winning them back wasn't easy, not at all. But honesty, feeling the burning shame, and just communicating. That is what saved your relationship with the people and friends you cared about.

The secret emails between you both sent, you were happy to know Melissa was doing alright. However it was a different story when it came to your parents. Still borderline resenting them you did everything possible to make sure they wouldn't be able to contact you. Even with all the family money.

College was truly an eye opening experience. The freedom was almost overwhelming, so were the assignments. Through the ups and down you started to know who you were. Discovering new hobbies and even figuring out your sexuality.

Yes it was true Y/n truly had moved on from the events of the pass. Or at least she thought so.

Making friends still didn't come as easy to you as others but you managed to make a few. A bubbly werewolf girl from your interior design graphics class, and her twin sister who studied medicine. Of course you still kept in contact with your gym friends.

Bai quickly became your older figure, always there whenever you felt overwhelmed. You also adored his baby daughter and his wife, Haru. A Japanese women with short black hair and dark eyes. She always made you feel at home when you were around. Especially since you ran errands for them occasionally. You were practically family to them both, and an aunt to Alicia. Who had Bai's pink eyes, and tan skin. But with Haru's black wavy hair and cute facial features.

Sawyer and you remained as close as ever, even though it seemed the two of you drifted apart. Life just seemed to pull some people to different paths. He still worked at the gym while dabbling in investment, but life was good. Whenever y'all called or texting it was just like old times. You longed to see him more often, maybe even surprising him in the gym. But the risk of seeing your parents stopped you. But it didn't stop him from driving up to visit you and Bai every once in a while.

Y/n drove home in her used Chevrolet Sonic, which she was still paying off with help from Melissa. Turning up the radio she wondered how the stay at Bunny Hill would go. It really surprised her when Aaron started to reconnect with their parents. Seems like he was on the road of forgiveness with them. But for Y/n if her parents wanted to build a relationship with her they would have to really acknowledge all their past actions that hurt her.

The real reason she wanted to go was to help Aaron with his proposal plan. It didn't hurt that she was also getting paid. Y/n also figured it was because of her AA in interior design.

"Time to get packing"

Wassup you lovely people 👏🏾 Thanks for coming back for the sequel! If you haven't read the first book I'd recommend it because the story will make better sense (Its called Destructive)

Wassup you lovely people 👏🏾 Thanks for coming back for the sequel! If you haven't read the first book I'd recommend it because the story will make better sense (Its called Destructive). Remember this is fan fiction so the plot will be different and some points.

Time for some ✨self promotion✨
I also have been working on another yandere fiction but with my own original characters and storyline (still a xreader). If you have a thing for slow burn yandere's and a bit of humor it's the book for you! I try to keep things entertaining ::smirk::
