Madelaine's POV:

It's been two weeks since that incident in Daniel's car. We don't talk to each other very much anymore. We majorly talk when we need something from one another. And to be honest, everything got awkward after that. We haven't talked about it, and he kinda turn cold on me. And that shit hurts. Yet I'm too afraid to even bother to say anything about what happened. I wanna do the first move. Yet it came to me that he's the one who started everything. He's the one who kissed me, not me. He's the one who pushed me away. Not. Me.

I just got pulled out from school and started on driving to Starbucks right now to meet up with Anna. She told me to meet me there because me and her have something to talk about, which I don't have a clue as to what it is. I parked and went inside. The smell of brewed coffee hits my nose, I turn to look to my right to see a familiar brunette at the back and I started to walk towards it.

"Hey babe!"

"Hello love" She said standing up as she gave me a hug and we sat down.

"So what do you wanna talk about?" I asked. "Or do you want me to order something first for the both of us. And talk while we're at it?"

"You know me so well" Anna said as she rolled her eyes with a smile. I laughed as I got up to order.

As I came at the counter, a guy stood there from about my age and gave me a smile.

"What can I get you miss?" He asked typing in the monitor.

"I would like a venti cinnamon dolce latte? And a white chocolate mocha?" I said as I was getting my wallet.

"That would be 9.4" He said typing something in the monitor.

I gave him the money and he took it and gave me the change, "You came here often?" He asked.

"Most of my studying leads here" I said and he nods.

"I'm Edwin by the way" He said looking up giving me a smile from making our drinks.

"Madi, it's nice to meet you-"

"Yo man Zion just called me" I turn to see Brandon with a guy that I don't know running towards the counter. "Oh hey Madz!" He greeted and gave me a hug, "What're you doing here?"

"I'm with a friend" I said while giving him a smile.

"Okay a venti cinnamon dolce latte, and a white chocolate mocha for Madi" He said while handing me the drinks.

"Thanks Edwin, I'll see you around Brandon" I said while returning back to our table.

"See ya!" He said, "Oh man, she's hot" I chuckled as I overheard what Brandon's friend had said.

I gave Anna her drink, she thanked me and I sat across from her. "Okay, so what are we gonna talk about?"

"You and Daniel" She said simply.

I raised an eyebrow, "What about me and Daniel?"

"He likes you"

"Um, no?"

"He does"

"Anna I'm not gonna believe that unless he says so himself"

"But it's true"

"How do you know?"

"He told me"

I scoffed, "It will take a Daniel, and an apology. For me to even believe it"
