In this generation, what I've learned or what I experienced is that everyone will always dictate what you're going to do. It was never about freedom or anything but it's just for the sake that they are older than you. Teenage limbo for me is true. As Grace said, it's somewhere between being a kid and being mature. It's in our nature, to be independent and express what we feel, but no one, no one really listens. Somehow we try and try to tell them, but they don't hear us, they don't want us to be heard. It's always gonna be them and them and them and they will say that they've been where we are, but no. It was different back then. Don't compare us from the past. If it was easier back then, now it's harder than it is. Truly I say, we don't have to be this way. They only need us when they already made mistakes. Why should we suffer? Why should we do? We, us, teenagers are messed up as adults are, we are all the same. As messed up as it is, we are still human beings. Either treat us as we well deserve or treat us like we're somewhat robots of this generation.
"The teenage years are limbo, you're somewhere between being a kid and an adult, and the world, it tells you to be mature and express yourself, but the minute that you do, it tells you to shut up. It may not be easier to just be inspired like 'I want to be me' or 'I want to be whom I want to be', but mind this... TEENAGERS WILL ALWAYS BE TEENAGERS, act like it and eventually you will grow up and... Congratulations, you officially SURVIVED LIMBO.
