"And a five, six, seven, eight." Seungri called while moving in time to the music.
"You wouldn't find anyone else's mentors dancing with them like this. Isn't this great?""Yeah." I sighed from the sidelines.
The company medic had checked up on my arm and confirmed that the first guy that checked it was in fact dodgy and I had to rest my arm in the sling for a couple of weeks.
WEEKS.
To follow this up YG himself instructed me to sit out of dance practice and just focus on memorising the dance covers instead.
So not only did I have to get up early, but I had to get up early to do nothing and watch from the side.
I can hand on heart tell you that it was one of the most boring and sad moments of my life, and I'd once listened to a two hour talk from YunHo and MinHo about the importance of being competitive in the industry.
Seunghyun was sat beside me filming the little dance tutorial looking too content for my likings.
"Someone seems happy that my arm is in this situation." I grumbled.
"No, of course not." He smiled.
"Why would you think that?""So you'll teach me the routine when my sling is off?"
"Now let's not be too hasty." He silenced me.
I knew he was secretly enjoying not having to dance.
Little shit.
"Why else do you think I'm filming it?" He said zooming in to show the footwork.
"Now shut up or you won't be able to hear the comments."I nodded and patiently waited for them to finish practice.
"Great work." Taeyang applauded.
"Five minute water break and then come back in to learn the rest."The rest?
"Ugh." I groaned.
"Why? What now?" I was poked on the side.
"I have to wait for JiYong-"
"Sunbaenim." He added.
"Yeah, Sunbaenim, to finish up so that we can all go to the studio to record the song. It needs to be done today so we can work on the stage performance."
"The kdrama song?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah the kdrama song."
"And by the looks of it, I'm going to be here for a while."They were all doing some strange stretching exercises on the floor.
"Why should you have to wait for them?"
"Erm, because Mr.Yang told me to so..."
"No, he said to stay with your mentor." He had a strange glint in his eyes.
"What ever it is, it doesn't look legal so count me out of it." I dismissed his attempts.
"I'm only going to pick up a few things from the shop." He replied.
"I'm in charge of food for the group meeting tonight.""Cool."
"And a little birdie told me you need to go shopping for room decor." He wiggled his brows.
"It wasn't a little birdie, it was me an hour ago." I sighed.
"You heard me saying that to Jisoo.""Same thing." He shrugged.
"So whatcha say?""Well, I need to be here when they finish."
"I'll just ask Ji." He said getting up from his place on the floor.
"JiYong-ah, what time is this practice going to end? You've been here for four hours already."
