"And then we could have Rosè playing the guitar live." I suggested.
"I would've done it but unfortunately my arm situation ruined it."

"Yeah, I could do that." Rosè nodded vigorously.
"It's been a while since I last played."

It was the day before the first group performance and we were finalising our stage in Gd's studio.

"I'm sorry you have to sit down because of me." I apologised.

"It's okay." Jennie reassured me.
"It will make our performance more casual. And it's not like our song will make you want to dance anyway."

"Don't worry Harry Potter. We amazing already." Lisa squeezed my hand.

Jisoo nodded in agreement.

"You've worked hard." The great dragon clapped.
"Let's finish up for today."

It didn't take much convincing as the girls clambered out from their chairs and rushed to the cafeteria.

I span my chair around in the hope that it would make me feel less stressed.

"What?"

The sound I responded with could've been mistaken for an elephant during mating season.

"So that means you're staying behind again?" JiYong chuckled.
"The third time this week."

"I want this song to be as perfect as it can." I shrugged.

"And how are you feeling about your first performance?" He turned in his chair so he was facing me.

"If I'm being honest, a bit stressed." I admitted with a sigh.
"I feel like I have a lot of pressure to do well because of my history of working in the industry. If I don't live up to them people will have plenty to say."

"Ah." He nodded as if he understood.
"So what."

"What do you mean so what?" I exasperated.
"If I don't do well people are going to start hating on me and making up rumours about how I even got into this company."

He squinted his eyes at me.

"...Sunbaenim." I quietly added.

"Yeah, as I said. So what." He shrugged.
"You could resurrect Michael Jackson from the grave and people would still have something to say."

I listened attentively.

"People are always going to talk because that's just what they do." He continued.
"Now what you should do is ensure that you are pleased with the performance, because if you know you've done all that you can, no matter the outcome you'll know that you've done your best."

Wow.

He could be a motivational speaker.

"Is that what you do?"

"It's what I've learned to do, I guess." He shrugged.
"If I'd listened to what people were saying about me I wouldn't be where I am now. I would've have worn whatever I wanted and broke the boundaries of male idol fashion and I wouldn't have experimented with my music-"

"Which encouraged more idols to write and compose their own songs." I finished off.

It was no secret that he had a massive impact both on the fashion and music industry.

I had done my research.

"Exactly." He did finger guns.

He had plenty of valid points, but would I listen to them?
