Heaven. (After the games.)

A walk down memory lane

"Get away from me!" Thresh screams. " get away!" He try's to attack me, but rue slams the door and locks it.

"Some times they need time to accept" rue states.

"Accept what." I ask.

"That there other life is gone." Rue disappears in a puff of smoke. I wish she would stop that.

What about another life? I wonder.

I decide to take a walk down the marble path.

I get half way down the walk way, and I see a fork in the trail. There is a sign. To the right it goes to the mirror building. To the left it leads to the memory meadow. Curiosity gets the best of me. I go left.

The path is strait from here on out. I finally reach a long stretch of land. Coated in flowers of only the prettiest colours. It's beautiful. Then I look at the sky. It's a light blue. But then the colours shift. In the sky I see a boy. He has golden blond hair and eyes like the sky. I feel like I should know him. But I don't. He looks angry, he beats the ground with his fists until they bleed. He lets out a scream of pain.

"Clove." he whispers. "I need you." He begins to cry. The image disappears. I need to find this boy. I feel a tap on my shoulder. It's rue.

"You shouldn't stray from the trail." She says." It may not turn out like you expect it." Rue smiles and give me a hug. "I went throughout the same thing, just days ago." She states. "But I could remember."

We walk back down the path. "Guess what?" Rue says. "Me and the other tributes... I mean people, are gong to play hide and go seek tag." She jumps up and down like a kid. Which she is.

"Can't wait." I smile. I love games like that. Even though it's kind of a little kid game. Then again I don't know how old I am. When we get to the houses, there are a bunch of people in the street.

"Hi every body." Rue yells. " this is clove. She will be playing with us. " I hear a choir of hellos and heys.

"Glimmer, you can be "it" first." Rue squeals. A tall blond girl steps forward. Glimmer what a silly name.

"Homes" is the mirror building." Glimmer informs us. "I'll count there." She runs down the trail. We all wait a minute for glimmer to get there. Then we bound into our hiding spots.

I run to the garden and jump in a bush.

"Get your own hiding spot." I hear someone whisper. A brunet reveals himself.

"The bush is big enough for the both of us." I argue.

"Fine." He says. "I'm marvel.you are, clove, right."

"Yah. Now be quiet, I think I hear something." I pear through the bush to find glimmer has walked clean passed us. I jump out so the bush and race to the mirror building. With marvel right behind me, and glimmer behind him. I speed up.

"Got yah." I hear glimmer say from behind. Soon she is hot on my heels again. This girl can run. The building comes into view. I leap into the air, and land on the stairs with my fellow winners. With that, I get high fives from strangers I feel like I've known forever. There are four other people on the stairs.

"What are your guys names." I asks.

"I'm jane," a short red head states.

"I'm William." A large black haired one says.

"I'm Joshua." A little boy about rues age says.

"I-I'm Christ-tina." A shy brown haired girl half stuttered half whispered.

"I'm clove, as rue told you all." We smile and talk, every few minutes a girl or boy would join us. Soon it was time to call it a day.

"Okey everyone." Rue yells."curfew is fast approaching. Go back to your houses." I walk back down the cobblestone road. For the first time since I've been here. I'm happy.

I notice there are now two house number fives. I thought there was only one. This is weird. But I shake it off, and go into my house and sleep.
