Chapter 4

Pha's pov:

When i came back, they were all standing at the doorway looking worried.

"You didn't go inside?" I asked them.

"We were waiting for you." Kit answered. The others nodded.

I looked behind them.

He must be worried by now.

"Come on. Let's go." I said getting in.

When i came into the room Forth had an anxious expression on his face.

"What took you so long?" He asked the moment i sat down on the bed beside him.

"It's nothing baby. We just chatted a little." I assured gently.

He nodded.

He looked behind me.

I turned around as well.

They all looked really bewildered. They were looking around the room wide eyed.

Forth clutched my sleeve.

He looked like he was going to start crying.

"Guys." I called them.

They all snapped out of it and rushed towards the bed. They sat down and looked at Forth worriedly.

"What happened? Where did you get hurt?" Lam asked frantically.

Forth pursed his lips and looked at me.

I gripped his hand reassuringly.

I took a deep breath and explained everything to them.

By the end of it, their jaws were hanging and their eyes were wide open.

Park snapped out of it first.

"I'M GOING TO KILL THEM!" Park yelled. He looked furious.

With that the others' expressions also changed to furious ones.

Forth flinched at his voice.

His grip on my hand tightened.

"Don't shout." I said firmly.

I wrapped an arm around Forth's waist protectively and rubbed his belly gently.

He calmed down a little after that.

"I'm sorry i didn't mean to scare you." Park said guiltily.

Forth smiled and shook his head.

"Those bastards need to pay for this." Ming hissed.

"Dad's already on it. He said he's got some leads already." I explained.

They nodded.

"They still have the audacity to come here after doing that shit...." Lam mumbled.

Forth blinked and looked at me.

"Is that why you took so long?" He asked.

I pursed my lips.

"You don't need to worry about it baby. I won't let them come anywhere near you." I assured him.

He kept quiet and just nodded.

"What about classes?" Beam asked.

"Dad took three months leave for both of us." I answered. "Can you guys take notes for me?"

Beam and Kit nodded.

Forth looked at Park and Lam.

"We'll take notes for you. Rest assured." Lam smiled.

He smiled back.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I called out.

Uncle Golf came in.

"Should i bring the food here, or will all of you be eating at the table?" He asked.

I pondered on what to do.

"We should eat at the table." Forth spoke up.

"But your wounds...." Yo looked at him worriedly.

"I'll be fine as long as i don't move around too much." He assured.

I nodded.

"We'll eat at the table." I turned to uncle Golf.

He smiled and nodded.

"The food is ready."

With that he left the room.

They all got up.

I took off the duvet and slowly lifted Forth in my arms.

We went out of the room and to the dining room.

"Can one of you get a pillow from the couch?" I looked at them.

Yo rushed to the couch and grabbed a pillow.

He kept it on one of the chairs.

I gently placed Forth on it.

I then pushed the chair in a bit.

"You ok?" I asked him.

He nodded.

We ate while talking about random things. Park and Lam told us about all the drama going on in the engineering faculty without their head hazer.

We all joked and laughed the whole time.

I looked at Forth and smiled widely when i saw him laughing heartily.

It was definitely a good idea to bring them here.

They stayed and hung out with us till 7 o'clock in the evening.

They had classes tomorrow so they couldn't stay later than that.

"I forgot to ask." Lam spoke while we were sta in the living room after eating.

We all looked at him.

"Where's your phone? I called it numerous times but it's turned off." He looked at Forth.

I turned to him.

He looked deep in thought for a while.

Then his eyes started pooling with tears.

"They took it when...."

"Ok. Enough." I immediately wrapped my arms around him.

His body was trembling.

The others looked at him worriedly.

"I'll buy a new one for you. I'll text the number to you guys." I said.

They all nodded.
