Chapter 6
-“Start tracking Talha Yilmaz’s phone calls and location” She ordered as they all entered the station. “We’re done for today, go home everyone and return back early in the morning tomorrow. I hope to see you all at 8am” Picking up her stuff she winded up her work
-“What is on your mind?” Omer asked as they both were walking towards the parking lot. He could see she was tensed over something and knowing her for years he knew she wouldn’t hide it from him.
“We need to get the manager’s phone number to start tracking him. That brainless man was talking over the phone without caring about his surroundings.” Her voice got louder as she revealed the happenings of today. She was livid, the manager made her want to arrest him then and there but she had think wisely and work on a plan before making any move.
“Woah he…” He looked at her in daze not understanding how he could miss the act of that man.
"I heard him informing someone that he removed the evidences" She said bitterly
“We need to have a solid plan.” He told her as they got into the car.
“We can discuss on our way home?” Buckling her seatbelt she spoke with lots of hope in her voice.
-After dropping him to his place Zeynep was on the way back home with thousands of thoughts roaming around in her mind. The plan was really good and well set, she hoped they could execute it the same way because if all go as planned they will definitely find a huge clue if not the murderer.
There were other thoughts too roaming around in her mind which she didn’t have time to think over until now. Stopping her car as the signal went red, she made a call and wore a Bluetooth device in her ear.
“Hi Safwa, Zeynep here.” She said as the call got connected.
“Hi Zeynep, how are you? Hope all is well.” The woman from the other side answer.
“All good, I wanted to discuss something about the latest case I’m working on, do you have time right now? I hope I didn’t disturb you.” Please just don’t be busy!
“Sure go ahead, I am actually on a break right now. I am assuming you want to talk about the Ayra Yilmaz case?”
As the signal went green, she drove and parked her car on the side to talk without any disturbance. “Yes, actually your forensic team sent us the results, the report suspected that the finger prints were wiped off from the surface?” She asked hoping to get a positive response.
“Yes Zeynep, we checked the evidence multiple times but there were no fingerprints on it. Of course we know it is impossible to disappear by itself so this is what we are suspecting.” The woman who was the head of forensic department replied.
“Right, so do you have any idea what was used to wipe off the ring? It might help us in the case.” She hesitated but asked anyway.
“Even though the case was done from our side I actually did search about it knowing this can be needed in future, Just today I found two substance which might have been used but there is a problem…” She trailed off slowly
