Too Lazy to Come Up with a Chapter Title

They watched the picture as the ends started to burn.  Smoke curled around the picture and drifted up into the air.  Not surprisingly, a person appeared, their eyes bright.

"Meow- I, uh," the person stammered.  "I'M FINALLY FREE FROM THE TOAD THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

The person went crazy, tearing down the other pictures and freeing the "cats".  The people gathered around, amazed.  Some were even crying with happiness.

"GUYS YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I JUST WENT THROUGH-"  They all looked over to a bed where Dari was sitting- wait.

"You're awake?" Dante asked.

"Finally, dragging her body around was getting a lot of attention," Faren said.

Dari looked at her like she was crazy.  "You WHAT?!"

At this point, Faren pointed a finger at Dante, who pointed a finger back at her.  Dari looked down and saw a bruise on her knee.  

"So it wasn't just in my dreams," Dari said.

"Ahaha... I totally don't know what you're talking about..." Dante said.

"He let your knee hit a rock."

Of course, that was Faren.  Dante glared at her and ran to hide behind Morgana.  Dari picked up a pillow and threw it at his direction.  Morgana caught the pillow and chucked it right back.

"Uhhh guys," Ahren said nervously.  "In case you didn't notice, we are making a bunch of noise right now.  Surely Ms Dolores will have sent someone to investigate."

Dari raised a hand to her temple and groaned.  "Mind telling me what the Hades is going on here?"

One of the rescued people looked up.  "Is that slang nowadays?  I've been in a picture for so long I'm missing all of the trends!"

The door slammed open.  An ugly scowl on the toad's face quieted them all.

"She truly looks ghastly," Faren whispered.

Ahren looked down into his pocket and felt the tooth rattling.  He was pretty sure that it was telling them to get the Hades out of there.  

The toad lady got out her strange stick and raised it in the air threateningly.

"What the Hades?  What are you going to do with a stick?" Dante asked.

"This," she hissed.  With a flick of her hand, Ego came flying out of a bed and towards her.  They all watched with wide eyes as Ego cursed.

MY WOOD HAS BEEN TAINTED.  I'LL SHOW HER WHO'S BOSS!

Faren snickered as Ego manoeuvered itself so it'll hit Dolores straight in the face, knocking her out in the process.

"That was one way to get rid of her," Morgana said.

"WILL SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Dari asked calmly.

"No time to talk, let's get out of here," Ahren said.  Everyone piled out of the room, some stepping on Ms Dolores.  Kids peeked their heads out of the doors, looking at them longingly, but didn't come out.  Dari was muttering to herself the same time Ego was singing obnoxiously.  

"Why aren't you coming with us?" Dante asked.

One kid shook their head.  "We just can't.  Goodbye!"

Once they were outside, Ahren looked back in his pocket and saw that the tooth wasn't rattling anymore.  He started walking around, seeing where they were supposed to go.  By now most of the people had dispersed.

"Guys," Ahren said.  "We're supposed to go this way.  East."

"You mean go into a dodgy part of town?" Faren asked.  "I love it."

"Are any of you going to-" Dari was cut off by everyone trying to explain to her.

"Ok OK!  I get it now," Dari said.

They all walked into a dark alley (of course) and it opened up into a... not nice area.  Shady people were hanging around, houses were barely standing up.

"This is nice," Faren said.  "Ahren I found your new home!"

"Very funny," Ahren said.

"No, I'm being completely serious."

"Magazines!  Come get your magazines!"  A little boy waved the magazines in the air.  Dari found herself walking over to him.

"Can we see?" Dari asked.

"That'll be 25 cents," he said.

Faren scoffed.  "What is this, the 1900's?"  She took one and scanned the front page.  

"That was rude," Dante said.

"'Mysterious Sighting in London'," Faren read aloud.

Dari frowned.  "That sounds familiar.  WAIT!  There was this guy in my dreams..."

"Was it me?" Dante asked.

Dari laughed.  "Yeah right.  Anyways, he showed me this exact magazine!"

"It can't be a coincidence," Morgana commented.

"I guess we're going to London," Ahren said.

Wow.

I really am a professional procrastinator.  

This chapter was supposed to be up by Christmas but... ALFKSCJDLSKJF
