Chapter 7

"Dad, I want to ask you something", she hesitated a little.

Mr. Taylor looked at her and motion her to speak.

" Dad, I want to stay at Kara's for the weekend, you know friends fun sort of weekend", she said while rubbing her fingers nervously.

"Ok, no problem darling, Dean will drop you there whenever you want to go", Mr. Taylor replied in permission.

"N..no dad, I'll go with my driver because we have some outing and shopping plans", she lied.

" As you wish, go and fresh up we will dinner together today", Mr. Taylor said her softly.

Emma stands up and left the study walking towards her room.

Eva was standing at the airport with Noah and Mrs. Smith. They were about to board the plane.

Noah was wondering in his heart how on the earth Demon had even agreed this untamed lioness come with them.

Noah's phone buzzed, he looked at the caller ID and picked it up.

"Hey, Mark, how are you?", asked Noah

" I'm good, have you reached LA?", Mark asked on the other end.

"No, we're just about to board the plane, btw why did call?", Noah inquired.

" I called to inform you that I'll be in LA after two days", Mark informed him.

"I thought you were coming today", Noah asked confused.

" That was my plan but actually Nora wanted to come with me this time, so that's why I have to postpone my plan a little, I'll meet you and Demon when I'll reach there", Mark confirmed.

"Well, see you there, bye", Noah cuts the call.

There was an announcement of their flight, Noah shook his head and walked toward Mrs. Smith and Eva who were waiting for him.

Emma was packing her duffel bag with her necessities, today she was going to the picnic with her friends and of course without telling her dad.

She wore a dark blue denim shirt with dark blue jeans. The sleeves of her shirt were folded till her elbows.

She was wearing white sneakers with it and her hairs were tied up in a ponytail with little strands of hair falling on her both sides of the face.
She put a natural pink lip tint, her naturally smooth skin was glowing.

She picked up her bag and started walking out of her room. She went downstairs where Adam was waiting for her to come.
She reached the last stair and Adam marched toward her.

He took the bag from her hands and started walking toward the entrance door. Emma followed him behind and got into the car.

Adam put her bag inside the trunk and sit on the driving seat.

" So, where are we going", Adam asked while pulling away from the driveway.

"Santa Monica", she replied

He hummed in response.
The whole driving was quiet until Kara Nathan and others join them on the way.
Soon they reached the destination.
