Did somebody say giant squid?

"Nico will you be able to shadow travel us where we need to go?" I asked

"Yeah, I should be able to, I can ask Will to help me with it as well though" Nico replied

"Hey Percy I'm grateful to have been chosen for the quest but do you mind me asking why?" Travis asked me

"I wanted you on the quest because you are experienced and have skills that I think will come in handy on this quest" I told him, he smiled at that but I could tell he was still sceptical about it. "I also feel like we will have to steal the trident back"

"Percy is right" a voice behind us said we all turned around and the three of us instinctively knelt.

"good afternoon Percy" Poseidon said to me "I have come to tell you that I now know the location of my trident." Poseidon informed us he made a map out of thin air and drew a circle on it. "the trident is located within this circle" the exact location I am not 100% sure but I can say that I know it is located in a large lake, fresh water, that is occupied by Selkies they are Scottish merpeople and a rather large squid. Some would say it is giant." When Poseidon told us all of this we all just kind of stared at him dumbly.

"I'm sorry did you say a giant squid?" Travis asked, it was obvious by his tone that he was already planning something in case we met this squid. I didn't know if that was good or bad thing.

"yes, I did say giant squid. Percy was right about the stealing part. If the Selkies have possession of the trident they will not willingly give it up. Even for you Percy, you need a backup plan if they don't give it to you" Poseidon continued. "I am terribly sorry but I need to leave you will be able to keep this map and I will be watching over you whilst you are on this quest. Good luck" And with that he began to walk towards the sandy beach. "oh, and boys, look for a castle, the lake is near one. And when you make it you must be careful not to be seen. Whatever you do, do not enter the castle" And with that he had disappeared back into the ocean. The three of us looked at the map and we were shocked to see what was circled, Dufftown. A small town in Scotland. The circle translated to an area around 25 miles long. On the map, we could see a large number of lakes all of which were labelled.

"well at least we know where we need to go now" Travis said.
