SONG*:Sam Smith*: To die for.

                    *TO DIE FOR*

I groaned, fluttering my lashes. My eyes shutting when it couldn't adjust to the light. The blue colour of the bed and whit sheets, told me that it was indeed my bed. I was in my room.

What happened to me? Why was I asleep? Maybe my wolf Kendra had an explanation. I went deep in my mind. Calling Kendra out.

'Kendra...'

'Lena? Are you okay?' She asked. Concern lacing in her words. Making my brows furrow. 'Yeah, why as that?'
I asked.

Silence, she didn't bother telling me anything. Just went deep, at the back of my mind. She disappeared completely. A frown married itself on my face. It wasn't like her to go back, she's always in the surface.

Watching and listening, even when I slept she'd be out near where I can feel her. This is odd. She'd always have an answer to everything. Make herself known. That she's watching everything.

'Kendra.' Nothing. It felt like she wasn't even there. Like she couldn't hear me. But I can feel her. Her presence and heartbeat with mine.

Odd.

"Your awake, Lady Lena." My eyes snapped as a man entered the room. He walked until he was standing near the bed, facing me with a bright smile on his face. "I'm Miguel. The Royal doctor." He looked like he was probably in his early forties. Hair was black with grey in it. His blue eyes said he had seen many.

"Nice to meet you sir-"

"No no, lady Lena. Call me Miguel." He cut in. Hus eyes wide like I did something wrong or said something wrong. "I can't call you by your name. Your an elder." I state the fact. A deep frown on my face. It felt wrong calling him by his name.

"Yes I am, Lady Lena..your thé Kings mate and soon to be Queen. It won't be appropriate for you to address me like so..." He spoke. A smile on his face. "I know. Then can you call me Lena if I call you Miguel?" I asked.

A dark look passed his eyes. Smile vanished and his body tensed. "I can't possibly do that. Your the soon to be Queen. It's a sign of disrespect." He spoke. Shaking his head in each word.

"Fine then. I'll call you sir too." I pout stubbornly. Crossing my hands on my chest. "No no." He whispers, eyes in deep thought.

"Okay. Fine but only when we are alone. Deal?" He suddenly smiled. Making me smile along. That wasn't bad was it? "Deal."

He shook his head, amused at my behaviour. "So how are you feeling Lena?" He asked. Sitting on the chair I didn't notice opposite me. "I feel good. What happened to me."

"Nothing to worry about. You just went through your second heat. It gets your body all tired and weak when you don't mate at the end of the day." A board paper was on his hands as he ticked and signed some things in it.

That explains why I felt so tired of moving or opening my eyes. But one thing doesn't feel right. "Why is it difficult to talk to my wolf. She's fading and feels distance..." I speak. Wanting to know.

He frowns deeply. "I don't know why..." hé pauses, his eyes deep in thoughts again. "...maybe it's because your body is too weak now or you didn't mate." He nods his head several times.

"Oh." Was my answer. I hope that explains enough. I think. "Where's Alberto?" I ask when he finished checking everything.

He looked away from the papers and smiled. "He went out two hours ago. Will be back before dinner."
