Soulmates(KakaNaru)

Naruto was exhusted. It had only been his first day and yet he felt his whole energy had been drained out of him. Sasuke had been helpful, showing him the ropes and taking over when Naruto had to deal with annoying customers.

The blonde had a great time actualy.

"Hey" The raven haired boy greets. Naru returned it with a weak smile, his head on the table. "Going home soon?" He asks, the raven haired boy nodded taking a seat across the table. "I'll stay here until Kakashi comes to pick you up"

Naruto closes his eyes and slowly falls asleep. Everyone else had left and it was just him, Sasuke, and Teuchi who was in his little office counting money.

An hour later, Kakashi arrived. The raven haired boy gave him a small wave, before gesturing at the peacefuly sleeping blonde.

"How was work?" Sasuke asked as the older man came up to them. Kakashi sighed tiredly. "Boring, I haven't gotten any new cases yet" he looks at the sleeping Naruto. "How did he go? Did he cause any trauble?"

Sasuke scoffed. "Him? Trauble? No he was great. Obedient, easy to handle" smirking he added playfuly. "Pretty cute too"

Kakashi didn't know why but he glared at Sasuke. "Yea well, I'll be taking him back now" he gently shook the blonde awake, but to no avail. "Naruto" he whispers gently, continuing to shake him. "Naruto...wake up"

He sighed. It wa no use, the blonde was knocked out cold. He will have to carry him back to the car. "We'll see you tommorrow Sasuke. Have a good evening" he bid the Uchiha good bye before gently picking up the sleeping blonde boy as he would a dainty porceline doll.

"Bye Kakashi" Sasuke said. Lowering his voice he whispered "Good night Naruto"

Kakashi was having second thoughts wheather he should continue to let Naruto work there.

"Please let me back in! Let me back in! Please! Please let me in!" he banged his ting fists against the door, body shivering as the rain drenched his small body. The little boy coughed as he continues to bang against the door and scream for those inside to hear him.

"I didn't do it! I swear it wasn't me! Please let me inside! I--I hate the rain! Please!"

There was the sound of the door unlocking, and for one sweet moment, he thought he would finnaly be let inside and escape the cold unforgiving rain. He was so cold he as sure he could drop dead any given moment.

However, his hope was crushed when he was kicked in the stomach, and was sent rolling down the stone stairs and splashing on a puddle.

The child raised his head, eyes meeting the caregiver's hateful ones. "Please--"

There was the loud sound of the door slamming.

Naruto woke up in his room. "That dream again?" he sits up and rubbed his eyes. Glancing at the clock he saw it was a quarter to ten.

Getting up from the bed, he looked at the small fox toy beside him. He held it tightly, and hugged it as if seeking comfort. "That was a long time ago dumbass" he said, hugging the fox tighter. He flinched when he heard the dreaded sound of rain. Looking at his window he almost felt like crying when he saw it was pouring outside.

"It's just rain" he thought. "It's just rain, it's just rain, it's just..." he stood up and ran towards the window to shut the curtains. "I hate you"

"It's fun!" his two best friends encouraged, dragging him outside. "No it isn't" he groaned. His two best friends laughed at him, calling him a shut in and splashing his shoes with puddles.
