Deidara stood there, staring at the cobblestone stairs leading down to the city's slums. Konohatropolis's slums was called the Red Light District. Drug addicts, mafias, drug pushers, petty thieves, whores and even Human trafficking, all can be found still active in the Red Light.
Deidara scrunched up his nose in disgust, as his face darkened in remembrance of his past. "I should get out of here" he thought. But, as if on autopilot, his feet started moving down the stairs, going deeper and deeper into the Red Light District.
He pulled up his hood to cover his face, as he passed a few shops, and one man not so subtly trading a bag of white powder to a another man for a brown brief case, most probably the case was full of money, Deidara guessed.
Up a head, the artist caught raven hair and an orange mask, just as the man had turned a corner.
The blonde picked up his pace to catch up to the man who saved him. Rounding a corner, Deidara saw him slip in to a crowd of disgusting, filthy people who looked starved and high.
The blonde bit his lip, and slipped into the crowd, trying his hardest not to get touched by them. The orange masked man was just within his reach, Deidara almost smiled as he reached his hand for the man's shoulder but then he tripped.
Deidara stood up quickly and saw the man disappear into another sea of disgusting lowly scums. "Where-" suddenly a hand covered Deidara's mouth and he was pulled into an alley. The blonde kicked the man and pushed him away, glaring viciously at his attacker. "What the fuck?!" He spat, but then he calmed down a bit when he saw who it was.
"It's you" he muttered once he recognized the obnoxious orange mask that covered the lower half of the man's face.
The upper half of the man's face was scarred, well one side was. The other side was perfectly fine, and the scars didn't bother Deidara at all no in fact he looked rougeishly handsome for him.
"Why are you following me?" The man asked with a quirk of his brow.
Deidara didn't know how to answer that. Why did he follow him?
"I--uhh, wanted to thank you for helping me" Deidara said. The man looked amused, and took a stept forward. "Didn't you already do that?"
"I thought you didn't hear"
"So you followed me, a stranger, to the Red Light District, all because you thought I didn't hear your thanks?" Although he was masked, Deidara could tell he was smirking. Something that ticked him off. Now he felt even stupider.
"Yes, and now that I've done that I'll be going now" the blonde turned to leave, but then the taller man caught his wrist and pulled him, his back hitting the man's broad chest. "Atleast let me come with you, to make sure you won't get assaulted" his warm breath fanned Deidara's ears, making face redden. The blonde elbowed the masked man, and jumped back. "Don't get comfy with me pervert"
The man chuckled, still rubbing his painful stomach. "Fiesty one"
Deidara turned his back, and left the alley.
The masked man stood there, counting in his head. His smirk grew when Deidara came back looking irritated and flustered. "I don't know which way to go"
The masked man laughed loudly, before slapping his back and dragging him with him out of the alley and back to the street where they first met.
Now back to where it began, the man looked up at Deidara as he went up the cobblestairs. Then the blonde turned his back to face him. "Can I know your name?"
"Tobi" the man said using a childish, whimsical voice. "Right, well thanks again Tobi, for saving me and, helping me get back. I'll see you around" Deidara hoped not, because he really did not want anything to do with anyone from the District.
"Ohhhh I'm sure we will" Tobi said, still with that childish voice, it both annoyed and unnerved him.
And with that, the Deidara and Tobi parted ways, with the blonde assuming he will never see him again.

Naruto wondered what Kakashi does at his work. He did say he worked as a detective at Konohatropolis' 99th precinct, but aside from that he didn't say anything else anymore about his work environment.
That was why during lunch, Naruto told Sasuke he wanted to check out Kakashi's precinct. "What would you even do there?" The Uchiha asked, following the blonde to his car. "I wanna check out what he does of course" well more than that, he just wanted to see what the office-version of Kakashi was like. Does he jump out of buildings followed by explosives like in movies?
Does he say cool quotes like Sherlock does after he solves something?
Naruto realised he was being childish and unrealistic but that was just him.
"You don't need to come though, I can just take a cab"
"My brother works with Kakashi" Sasuke smirked. "And it's been a while since I last messed with him, I also want him to meet you too"
Naruto nodded, and got in the car, as his mind took him to something that happened earlier that morning.
**Flashback
"Hey, Kakashi. When can I come down to your police station? Or precinct of whatever it is you call it" Naruto asked as he pulled open the bag of potato chips he was supposed to be putting away and began munching on them. "You know, so I could meet the rest of your frie-"
"No," Kakashi immediately snapped at him as he took the chips away from him and closed the bag, much to his disappointment.
His answer took him aback and his blue eyes narrowed. "Why not?" Naruto demanded to know as he grabbed the bag of chips back from him. When Kakashi didn't answer his question, he glared at him, which came out to be more of a pout than a glare. Even when he was young, he didn't like being ordered around.
